The only reason there was 4 mins of stoppage time was that Lescott felled Kaboul with a forearm smash and Balotelli stamped on Parker.

Totally GUTTED, i went from thinking we were in for a stuffing then 5 minutes later thinking we were going nick the win and I honestly felt over 90 minutes we were the better team. Ledley is such a legend, shame about the big mistake!

I only managed to get home in time to see the last 15 minutes of the game today unfortunately, but I've heard a lot of people saying Walker was shown up a bit with his defending?

I did however see the King tackle which was a definite penalty, and he looked distraught at the end of the game. If only Defoe had managed to get more of a foot on the change a couple of minutes before it could have been a different story.

Agree he tried his best but the ball was just a couple of feet ahead of him, i feel sorry for the team all the work that was put in two goals down in four minutes and within ten minutes they are level again only to be denied by a penalty with less than 30 seconds left that was a bit of hard luck, but in all honesty king should not have made that scissor tackle, he had the guys legs totaly locked, ref had no choice, but had he just gone with one foot in front of the ball he might have got away with it, but what he did there was not a ref in the world that would not have given that.

Ah well back to the drawing boaed i still think we could get second which is what ive said all along.

There's a fag paper between us & their half a billion quid squad. That's what I saw today, never mind the coulda shoulda stuff. Football games can turn on a dime & we won't be the only side up there to have a bad day at the office between now & May.

I so feel for you guys and for all Spurs fans worldwide and I am so gutted
we went 2 goals down and I thought here we go and we are going to get a right
hiding then within 5 minutes we were level and then I believed we could nick
it I had the faith in my team and then that tackle by Ledley.I really do not
know what was going through his head to make a tackle like that usually you
can rely on Ledley he is a legend.Life has to go on and there are plenty of
games to go but I forgive Ledley he is Spurs through and through just like
me and Journeyman and Oggy.

think like me old ledders had a "senior moment", but i still think we can finish second.

I totally agree with Arry i truly hope the FA look at that fool baloti, there should be no place for him "ANY WHERE IN THE ENGLISH GAME" That was in my opinion a deliberate stamp on parkers head, hes a dirty scum bag, he want kicking out of the English game.
There were a few nasty tackles from them like the one on kabool that led to their second goal all unseen or unpunished.

Kaboul got sold by Dzeko's run on the first goal, otherwise he would have just been able to cut out the pass before Nasri got anywhere near it - and Walker was guilty for 2nd IMO.

Kaboul has come on leaps and bounds this year but he does still misread situations more often than a King, Terry or Ferdinand would.

I personally don't think Balotelli meant to stamp on Parker - I think he lost his balance and stamped downwards to try to regain it.

Not sure why Bale didn't go down the left more, every time he did he seemed to cause them problems. His free role obviously brings HIM more goals but I do wonder if it's always the best thing for the team.

All in all though we nearly beat City at home. That's all that needs to be said, if we can keep that form up for the rest of the season - if the luck goes against them in a couple of games we'll be right up there.

Balotellis been charged for the stamp, Ive seen it a few times and ive maintained it looks intentional. Whether he truly meant it or not only he will know but he deserves the ban for scoring the goal!

I know he's hot headed and borderline retarded a lot of the time but deliberately stamping on someones head seems a bit far fetched to me

I think hes more than capable of it hes a nasty peice of work with a real attitude problem, the FA are seemingly going to chatge him as well, all i can say to that is GOOD, AND ITS A PITY HE CANT GET A LONGER BAN.
