I feel that this should be a certain 3 points although Lambert is doing a good job but then
again we are at home and we are pretty solid at home and becoming a bit of a fortress for us
so I can only see us winning this game about 3--0 a solid win for the Spurs.

1940Spursman8...coys/////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Norwich played a good game against Everton today 07.04.12. drawing 2--2 so we will have
to play at the top of our game.

I did predict 3-0 but if we play like yesterday we might scrape 2-1.

Tottenham Hotspur host Norwich City at White Hart Lane on Easter Monday 9th April (KO 15:00) in the 33rd round of the 2011-12 Premier League season.

Tottenham come into the game in third place in the table on 59 points after their 0-0 draw at Sunderland, while Norwich are in 12th place on 40 points after their 2-2 home draw against Everton.

This will be the 77th time the two teams have met.

Norwich City were founded in 1902 by three former Norwich Church of England Young Men's Society players. The club lost their amateur status in 1905 and joined the Southern League shortly afterwards.

The first meeting between Spurs and Norwich came in April 1906 in the Southern League and the East Anglian club won 4-1 at White Hart Lane. The reverse fixture at Newmarket Road was won by Spurs 3-0. Vivian Woodward scored three goals for Spurs against Norwich that season.

The clubs met for two further seasons in the Southern League, resulting in two wins for Norwich, a win for Spurs and a drawn match.

Spurs joined the Football League for season 1908-09 and the next meeting with Norwich came in the old second round (today's fourth round) of the FA Cup in January 1915 at "The Nest" in Rosary Road, resulting in a 3-2 win for the Canaries.

Four friendlies were played between 1916 and 1925 with Spurs winning two games, Norwich one and one drawn game.

The first Football League meeting between the two clubs came in the Second Division in December 1935 with Spurs winning 2-1 at the Lane, while Norwich won the reverse fixture 1-0 in April 1936 at their new home in Carrow Road.

The clubs met for a further three seasons in Division Two resulting in four wins for Spurs and two for Norwich.

During World War Two, Spurs & Norwich played two matches in the Football League South.

An FA Cup fifth round match in February 1959 ended in a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane and Norwich pulled-off a 'giant killing' act by beating Spurs 1-0 in the replay at Carrow Road.

The first meeting in the Top Flight of English Football came in October 1972 when a Martin Chivers goal at Carrow Road wasn't enough to prevent a 2-1 win for Norwich.

The clubs contested the 1973 Football League Cup Final at Wembley and a Ralph Coates goal was enough to bring the silverware to White Hart Lane.

Martin Chivers scored a brace in Tottenham's 3-1 win against Norwich in the reverse First Division fixture at the Lane a week later.

The clubs met regularly in Division One from season 1973-74 to 1991-92 with honours being generally even.

Both Spurs and Norwich were founder members of the Premier League in 1992-93, but the Canaries lost their top flight status after the 1994-95 season and returned for one season in 2004-05. Spurs won 5 of the 8 Premier League matches played with Norwich winning once and two drawn games.

The clubs met in a pre-season friendly at Carrow Road in July 2008 with Darren Bent scoring four goals in a 5-1 Spurs win. During the summer, Norwich City signed Spurs defender Kyle Naughton on a season's loan.

The reverse fixture at Carrow Road earlier this season in December resulted in a rather comfortable 2-0 away win for Spurs, thanks to a brace of goals scored by Gareth Bale in the 55th and 67th minutes.

Overall, Spurs have won 34, Norwich have won 22 and 20 of the 76 matches between the two clubs have been drawn.

STARTING LINE-UP
Friedel; Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Livermore, Modric, Bale; Defoe, Saha.
SUBS
Cudicini, Nelsen, Rose, Kranjcar, Sandro, Adebayor, van der Vaart.

Glad to see Bale and Lennon start with two up front. Parker missing worries me a bit but at least Modric is in the middle. Need 3 points!

Doesnt take us long to concede does it, 13 minutes and we are behind, very dissapointed. Somethings got to give soon either the manager or players have got to be asked serious questions.

eugh I feel sick...

defensively terrible, got what we deserved. Our so called star players were outclassed by a team that probably in its entirity cost less than Modric.

3rd place is as good as gone, and 4th looking likely to follow unless they buck up their ideas and win every remaining game this season

Absolute joke can't believe how badly we've thrown this season away, this isn't the same spurs I'd been watching earlier in the season something has gone massively wrong and can only think all the talk of Harry leaving us for England is having a big effect......?

What the h*ll is happening to our Spurs can't even beat Norwich in our own
backyard.I know Norwich are a good team but they certainly made our super
stars look like novices.I am utterly and totally gutted and we are hanging
on to that 4th place by the skin of our teeth. We have to start going on a
winning run or our season will turn into an utter disaster.
Harry sort this bloody mess out now?????????/

I dont think wobbly has the know how, or ability to sort it out mate, we were a bl**dy disgrace, i will later post in a quote that i made a while ago saying we will be lucky to maintain 4th, sorry to say its looking more and more like that now, something has got to happen no good me saying and fast, because now we are on a downer, Ncstle on the up so think we might have to settle for 5th, but manager and players or both need to be asked serious questions, our season has just capitulated, soon as the pressure is turned up we crumble, not good enough at all, i just wish the fa would come and ask wobbly and he says yea or nae, hopefully the first, and lets move on. Not at all happy.
Only one goal seperating us from the Geordies.

simple... harry signed saha (not blaming saha) and then for some reason he thought he could do tactics. so he did away with what was a winning formula and now we have one win in what? 8/9 games?

HARRY OUT!!

Only 5 left in the PL and I think we need a minimum of 13 points really. Still doable, but only if we step the f*** up

Are we able to step up, even the players seem to be showing lack of commitment, and ideas.
