I think Alderwield would be a good signing as he is used to playing with Eriksen plus
he is used to playing with Vertonghen and that could be a good setup for our team.

Is Mr Alderwield now worth a cheeky bid? It appears that the Musacchio is dead having dragged on for so long. Alderwield is pushing for a move, an international, can play centre back or right back and has played with Jan at club and international level...

Alderweireld would be a good signing, it could only be a good thing having players that partner club & international.

I think this would be a great signing for us. Btw is Vlad worth keeping? Say he was injury free, is the man worth it?!?

DeAndre Yedlin. Too soon?

Unfortuantely I never got to watch Ledley King. He was wrapping up his career by the time I got to start watching the EPL.

Mate Ledley is hands down the best centre back I have seen, such a good footballing brain and a true leader. With good knees he would have been England's number one still, probably would have been approached by everyone & their mum though.

The Sunday Times are claiming were favourites to sign him as he has told close friends we have offered him first team football.

Could be him using us drumming up interest with another team to get a better deal, but it would be a good signing for us. Him and schneiderlin would be some good summer business and should settle in well knowing most our players.

This would be one if not the most important signing of the summer he's quality
Verts would buck up & be on it with this lad next to him

If you want to see comedy defending and mistakes and you want to live on the edge, I would say yes.

But who knows him and about 299 more players according to media

I don't think it would happen. Even if Spurs sell Chiriches and Kaboul, we still have Vertonghen, Fazio, Dier and Wimmer as Centre Back, unless Fazio is leaving as well then we could sign Aldeweireld.

Our defence has been horrendous, one of the worst defences in the league.

This signing is the one that could sow it together.

Him and vertonghen at the back. They know how each other works. Have an understanding. Something we haven't had in a long time.

Fazio can be sold as far as I'm concerned. Not right for us at all. I have no words for how useless chiriches is either.

Alderweild would be the right signing for the team, rather than as a buy to improve to sell for the Clubs finances.

I think we need experience in the back four and CB partnership first and foremost. Fazio can leave today as far as I am concerned and Dier is good and learning his trade so I would see him ideallycas 3rd choice CB in PL and Wimmer is an unknown to me and not that massively experienced.

Some say we are just the favs to get him?
Anyone know if there any truth in this?
