Hi guys,

We set up a paypal account so people who want to contribute can donate funds to keep the site ticking over and moving forward. Thanks to everyone who has donated so far!

Also thought we should have a listen to any suggestions for changes to the site from our members so have made this post in the most active forum.

We're all ears!

Regards printing, I'm now on my own with 100% of my biz, (for what it's worth lol)

Which means I can afford to discuss a more worthwhile contribution towards this fund in the name of Planet Spurs as I don't have to split it with some cnut biz partner.

So he can pay his hosting provider. A provider for which he has had to upgrade his chosen service offering to compensate.

His wallet, yes. I think he can be trusted to put the money toward the costs of the server and hosting the website.

h*ll, he got it transferred for free; and it could have cost him more than free.

I don't want to draw the wrong conclusions but if you are implying that he's lining his own pockets then you are very, very wrong. And I'll leave it at that.

I understand sometimes sarcasm can't be read, but relax. If I had truely thought that, 1 I wouldn't have posted it and 2 I would have brought it up with TomTom privately in a message.

I would understand you chiming in if TomTom had first responded in an defensive manner, but let people defend themselves before rushing in. Trust me if any of these guys had thought I actually meant that, I would be taking a pounding by them. But honestly sometimes you have to poke people in the ribs to break the tension/depression that has been following the forum the last few months.

no offence taken USA...

As Chelsea Blue says donations go towards things like maintaining the site, for example paying the server costs and we're about to pay to upgrade the site as well as recently having to purchase the license off a former owner in order to be able to upgrade.

After the upgrade is done if people keep donating we plan on expanding planetspurs to having a website to go along with the forum with articles, interviews with ex players or people connected to Spurs in some way, maybe some video content + etc... It'll take some time but we're trying to grow PS into something special.

Texan? You mean a Mexican, right? Or sorry, the "Republic of Texas" or does he prefer Republic of the Rio Grande or the Republic of Yucatán? Inquiring minds want to know ;).

Watch it or I will go General Sam Houston on your ass. I'm a backwoods country boy, so my humor can be different.

Apology accepted.

I like what humour I've seen so far. It's as arid as San Antonio in summer.

Also, I don't own a donkey, so go Sam Houston all you like ;)
