Would anyone fancy setting up a fantasy league for us EXPERTS on here? I would but i already have one to run plus I'm doing well on my Fansy Rugby.

There is a free one with sky, but dont know much about it, also one with premier League, we have had that on here before but dont think it was liked very much, but one i do know of that is pretty good is the Telegraph Fantasy league. Just a thought if someone wanted to take the mantle. :niceone:

I already had a team on: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ so Ive made a league called Planet Spurs. The code to join is: 4974-140938.
For anyone that is unfamiliar with the site, you make an account, make your team and then go to 'leagues', 'join a league', choose join a private league and enter the above code. Good luck!

Ok I have set up an account.

I have always liked the idea of Fantasy Football but I've never been arsed to do it.

Just logged in...love it. Been sitting here 25 minutes and not spent £1.00 of the £100M.

The decisions are too intense I might faint.

Just to make the competition equal and fair. Could someone give me tips on what to do and what not to do. I'm honestly a noob.

How do you work on it week in week out...are there deadlines and such?

For example if we were playing FM I'd tell you not to bother assigning someone as Trequarista as it rarely works well.

You can make unlimited transfers to your team until the premiership starts. Once it starts you are allowed 1 free transfer a week and any extra transfers cost you points. You can choose your formation, I usually go with 3-4-3 as strikers and midfielders are usually more likely to get more points. The only deadlines are for each gameweek you have to have your team ready by 11 30 am on saturday or something like that. Occasionally there are times where a team is playing more than one match in a gameweek so players from those teams will get more minutes and probably more points, for example I think Chelsea play twice in the first gameweek due to other european commitments but this also means that those players will miss a gameweek in the future! Decisions! Enjoy!

Oh...that actually makes it a wee bit more exciting.

I think I've put a decent team together but doesn't it feel like your short about 11-20m lol

Is there any way to make more money or increase your budget during the season? I heard that if a players value increases and you sell him, you get the original value that you bought him for.

And so stuck at 100M budget indefinitely I assume?

I remember the value of your team does change during the season but not drastically and I think you do get the original value back anyway if you get rid of them. Im not too sure on that but I do know ive ended previous seasons where my team has been worth something like 105m. The only up side I think is that if players are doing well their value goes up and if they are doing badly their value goes down. You do get one wildcard at some point that allows you to change your whole team if you want though.

I'm in!

Looking forward to it. What Spurs players have people gone for? Can we divulge that information, or are we going to keep our cards close to our chest?

Also...prize?

I *think* Rog that if a players value goes up and you sell them you get half of the profit

eg if Bale starts at 8M and goes up to 12M and he gets an injury and you sell, you can get 10M thus a profit of 2M.

Still deciding whether to join. I tend to get bored after a few weeks but a PS league might make it more interesting.

Is this the ESPN league? How many QBs do we play? How are the FGs scored? Snake draft? Live or computer picks? How many RBs? Anyone draft my Texans defense before me is gonna get swatted JJ Watt style.
