Top notch performance from hugo last night , saves were very good but he had a couple of deflected shots that came his way that would have caused a problem if he wasn't positioned right.

Loris was excellent last night and Sissoko also very good. The MoM for me,however,is the same one who imho is our player,of the season. Thatís Jan Vertonghen.
Look at his season, sheer consistency despite having so many different partners either in central defence or at left back. Even a superb performance at left back. Superb footballer.

De Gea, widely regarded as the best keeper in the prem. For me, that was a massive misread of the ball. I thought he misread Ward Prowse free kick last week. Does he have a reoccurring flaw to his game.

Me too! Iíve backed him time and time again but Iíve had enough of him ...the mistakes are becoming far too frequent.

Poch needs to grow a pair and drop him. Perhaps some time on the bench may help Hugo...I like Gazza and he deserves the chance

Iíd sell Lloris at the drop of a hat in the summer...buy Nick Pope

Jenas calling for Hugo to be dropped for the Palace game:
https://www.bbc.co.u...otball/47768704

Such a shame he's become so unreliable. I do think never having the same defence in front of him doesn't help him build rapport and confidence but the one against Liverpool is unforgivable.

I'm not sure we can use the defence being different as an excuse , one thing we have been under poch is sound at the back regardless of personnel.

I don't want to agree with jenas, but I do .
Some keepers have spells where they need to see the wobble through and play , lloris is in need of being taken out the firing line for a while.

Yep cost us a point but more importantly a draw at such a hard place to go and get one is good for the teams confidence.

These players get pro wages and what he did was sunday league local park stuff.

These blips in important matches are really becoming a habit to the "Bifler"

The core is weak, time for changes. It won't be recognised Worldies though.

Levy will cash in now and sell all the assets before selling the club. The stadium debt will be cleared and ENIC will pocket the profit from selling it.

We are heading towards 5 years of signing cheap and mediocre players like townsend, Yedlin and Bassong. Such joy!!

cheer up mate - I know Liverpool has broken you but we've still got plenty of talent and there's a chance we'll finish the season strongly. I don't think Poch will let us slide down the table without a fight!

Read somewhere today that poch believes hapless hugo is one of the worlds best "keepers "

He wont be dropped anytime soon .

Thats why he continues to do bloopers in a game now and again.

No danger of le gaffer (bifler) losing his place...........! and thats wrong !............thats why you have another goalie waiting in the wings to keep him up to scratch and right now he is costing the club points and if we fail to make cl next season he will be costing the club millions in lost revenue. :grr:

To be fair beags I don't want my manager comming out in public slating any of our players , I would expect him to back him.
Again it reiterates pochettino's class, I'm pretty sure klopp threw karius under a bus at the end of the CL final which I thought was poor.

What he thinks behind the media circus may well be different, but at difficult times like this we have to stick together as a club.

Agree Will.

I remember Harry slating Gomes and dropping him after his gaffes. Friedel came in and steadied the ship well when we needed it. But Friedel was over the hill and all our coaches were on at Harry to give Gomes another shot as he was smashing it in training and they felt he'd be putting points on the board for us.

It's so hard with Hugo for me. A couple seasons ago he was my favourite player but he's just been so inconsistent this season and for a lot of last season too. I'd love him to turn a corner and put in Dortmund like performances for the rest of the season. I feel like most of his mistakes are mental, he's still a phenomenal shot stopper.
