thought Vorm had a good game when he came on for Hugo, never easy subbing on part way through a game as a keeper.

Hoping he'll step up to 1st team form, he's had a proper pre season and is capable of better consistency than he's shown for us so far if he gets a run of games rather than random 1 off appearances.

Obviously not as good as keeper than lloris but he is a lot more comfortable with his feet.

Your right I don't think we have seen vorms best form yet and although I rate hugo very highly, if vorm can produce the keeper atributes he did at Swansea he would suit our style better than lloris.

Find it odd Vardy and Aguero are on there but Kane isn't. Aguero has probably done more for Argentina than Kane did for England in the last year but Vardy didn't do much for England at the Euros either.

also there are only 3 defenders on the entire list of 30. Bit ridiculous. Toby deserves to be on the list for me

Need to win trophies and tbh. Kante should be on it if Payet is.

Also, what about Sanchez or any other Goon come to that ?

Lloris only made it because of the Euro's, not because of his club achievements.

Always thought this was a joke, back slapping Eurofest. It stinks of Platini and the weasel ways of UEFA. The size of the list alone is comical and they can't even get that right.

Big song and dance about who's best, Messi or Ronnie. I wonder which one will win ? :banned: If anyone gets it wrong, they must have been on a remote Island this summer.

Apparently Mahrez is leading the race I saw yesterday.

But Suarez deserves it without any doubt this time round imo. Expecting ronaldo to win it though after the champs league and Euros win

It seems as if Lloris wants more than Levy's limit of £100,000 a week. Footballers really are living in a world of their own these days. Do they realise how much the fans get in their wage packets. Well I do not want LLORIS to leave but I cannot stand greed either. I do believe that any team's captain should receive an extra payment for fulfilling the role, perhaps that is a way of increasing his wage without setting a precedent to other players. Anyway it seems he is under contract until 2019 so no panic unless he requests or demands a move. If he does well sell him but not to any club in this country unless they offer an absolutely ridiculous fee. If he went abroad he would command a huge fee anyway and then make a big offer for Berndt Leno.

I have read the reports too. They reference our £100k ceiling, but does that actually exist or is it a figment of the imagination put about by the club? It also says he and the club are some way apart on agreement for worth, doesn't say he wants more than £100k.

It amazes me how we, allegedly, pay such 'low' wages compared to others. Doubt it can last if true.

DONT JUMP DOWN MY THROAT ALL AT ONCE, just seeing some press reports that Spurs are concerned that Lloris might leave, and Hart and one other have been named as possible replacements, what are ones views on this. As I say only paper talk. :niceone:

totally agree with that but do you think he's better at commanding the area than Hugo?

I agree we must try and keep him. Regards Mr L, I do not dislike him and that his strict regime has kept us financially sound I think there comes a time in everyone life who has to make a decission to break the mould, IE i think if it means higher wage, additional bonuses then that for me has to be explored, Hugo is a world class keeper, but does make mistakes, indeed as every player does. :niceone:

I believe that Hugo is the most likely of our big players to leave. At the moment those clubs that could afford him away from the Prem have decent keepers, so there is no burning need for him. However, Man City would improve no end with him in goal, so if they flash cash and CL every season (and we don't qualify) that's where I see a threat.
