Back in full training next week 👍🏼
What a boost that will give us in the coming weeks really excited to get this lad in & around the squad but maybe next season before he really kicks on after such a lengthy spell out

I'm really interested in this lad, want to see him play in a spurs shirt asap & see if he can make it!! He looked absolute quality last season @ brentford.
What a luxury choices Poch has to make this and next season!!!!!

I'd be worried he's been out too long to really push for first team this season. I'd be tempted to do a premier league loan (I know there's a few clubs sniffing) but simultaneously could see how being around Poch & coaching staff to become indoctrinated in the pressing, ultimate fitness + etc... could be more beneficial in the long run. Tough call.

Hopefully he can beat the odds and just stroll back into contention without missing a beat but it's very very rare a player can do that.

Sums up many a football manager (the game) predicament.

Injury or not, there is advantages to him staying about Spurs. Remember he's got 2 years on Mason, and Mason was 24 when he integrated.

With Pritchard coming back and Onomah coming through it is less vital that we replace a departing Townsend.

Hopefully Pritchard can hit the ground running. Eriksen has been disappointing since he realized he's the only creative midfielder and I feel as if he's gotten complacent, knowing his spot in the squad is almost guaranteed.

Eriksen needs competition, as we have witnessed what competition has done to some players' game. Come on Pritchard!

Your joking why?
I know match fitness etc but poch said back in the summer he was gonna play a big role within the squad & we've just turned down a loan bid from Norwich
Gutted if true especially with njie out & lack of attacking options

Yea I can see the benefit of it if it's a month but would be disappointed if it was for remainder of the season been looking forward to him getting fit :niceone:

If he's loaned short term the ruling is different!. His regisyration is unaffected .I'd check why you think that

Excellent!

Maybes it's just recalls from long ones that counts for.

What he is saying is, when a person has been injured for so long and missed pre season training it will hard to regain full fitness this season, it has nothing to do with age.

Pritchard has passed the under 21 threshold. So if he was loaned until end of season and was recalled say in March he could not be registered.

However I wasn't aware this didn't count for short term 1 month loans. Which is great news.

Yep that rule is one I'm aware of, and it does include loans, transfers and free transfers. Don't think it includes trials.

However regardless of playing, I don't think a player can play if they transfer more than 2 times in a season either, regardless of whether they have played or not. - That rarely happens anyway. (Transfers not loans)

Football manager, a great tool for learning rules on registration etc :niceone:

Spot on once again mate 👍🏼
Bit gutted to be fair I really rate the lad & want him to stay but can see with the length of time he's been out he needs game time & match fitness
We're just have to wait a little longer, shame
