Kane's biggest season for me.

No way yet is he the finished article despite the plaudits and goals.

Too easily quietened in games in my opinion.

He either needs a rest or a rocket.

All these fcuking pundits saying spurs should of rested kane when England have been running him into the ground as well . The lad has not had a rest in a few years because of England duty and 21s... we pay his bloody wages surly England need to rest him as well after all they have loads of forwards to choose from

On the other hand, such is Kenes profile at club level,it appears that Kane determines when he plays. I get the impression that even if the club wants to rotate him he makes the decision to play.

Poch said in the conference that whilst he respects pundits opinions if anyone understands how Harry Kane works it's the coaching staff who've worked with him for 5 years.

Let's hope he's right!

Physically he probably isn't tired mentally he may well be .
I think your mind needs a break from something your consistently doing ,as normal job goers we all get annual leave or the choice of having leave where we can go away and not think about what you do on a normal weekly basis .

Kane's shooting less, running less and clocking lower top speed than his average pre injury last season. I've got no doubt he's got some physical hangups from no break for years, and rushing back after his ankle injury last season but a 70% Kane is probably still top 3 strikers in the league.

Agree but he hasn't looked right since the start of the year. Yes he can still score goals better and more frequently than 95% of strikers but something seems off. He hasn't been able to take a game by the scruff of the neck and dominate. He always seems on the periphery of games. It became worse in the WC where the service was poor and he was more or less playing second striker to Sterling.

The last time that he was dominant was actually in todays fixture last season, hopefully he starts to get some of the magic back. Still wouldn't swap for another striker anywhere.

If your job is physical how can you not say he is not physically tired lol. At the end of the day they are not race horses, they are human beings. Stats show his sprints and his work rate has gone down.

Did anyone hear Poch's press conference when he said Trippier asked him to come off in the Manutd win because he was tired.

Have a good rest Harry and see you soon 😊. SPURS don't have the money to spend on players like the big clubs have. We need to use the players we have. With all the injuries and games to play, will be difficult to win a cup or finish in the top four this season.

Lets see what Llorente does against Fulham and what tactics Poch comes up with.

We need the spirit of "The Ginger Pele" to get us through this

We’re nowhere near a one man team we’ve proven this every season under poch as harry Kane’s ankles were made by Mcvities & this is a yearly occurrence but without sonny & massive games coming thick & fast imo there’s no way we’ve got the answers especially short term whilst sonny is gone !
There’s never a good time for this sort of news but it feels this is the worst time possible harry will miss lge cup semi,Chelsea arsenal PL Dortmund both legs CL & lge cup final if we get there,
I’m not one to ever point to transfers when we suffer injuries & never use lack of transfers as excuses or blame BuT I honestly believe that this time because of the length of time harry is out & the mounting injury crisis we’ve been suffering since the World Cup & the vital period we’re going into that poch needs the help of the board & if there is a chance of bringing any quality in we need to go for it & help the squad try & fulfil some if any of the possible success we’re in contention for including keeping our top 4 spot,
Poch has been the perfect employee he now needs help

Could not have put it better myself, also just to add long term whether posters agree or disagree about prioritising top four finish , it is beneficial financially to have champions league at the new stadium next year.
I've posted on another thread that the board need to decide what they now want from this season , like you posted this period we are entering is probably the make or break of our season.

Kane never gets any break. Next Summer it’ll be the ridiculous Nations Cup followed by a club tour to some very long haul destination. The boy could do with a break from football . Killing the golden goose springs to mind.

I can't see us bringing in a striker, and definitely not one good enough to cover Kane. We should have already been looking for a CM. We knew we needed one last summer. Whilst I doubt Llorente can play the amount of games needed, he will definitely start against Fulham. Poch will need to pass a very difficult test but the old term of one game at a time definitely applies here. Who is coming by the time we face Chavs ? It's not going to happen and Levy won't rush anything through with City waiting in the final unless it's a short term loan. So the list isn't long. We have a 7 point cushion in the league, Levy will use that up before he panic buys. The more realistic shout would be to block Dembele's departure
