 well done lad. Pay rise in half a season, keep it up!

He's now signed with us til 2021. Let's hope we keep him here and he keeps improving.

Somehow Harry Hotspur is trying to turn this into a negative? Baffles the mind.

just skimmed the blog. He's implying that only paying him 20k (as rumoured by the independent) opens us up for him being unsettled by other clubs who could offer more. Think it's an absurd point tbh.

He's not even played a full season yet. I expect him to be on 50k+ by this time next year if he maintains his current level.

Exactly no different to Harry I think he's had two wage increases in the last 9-10 months alli will be rewarded the same if he continues his progress

This guy is looking to be an absolute gem.

In the running for Young player of the season?

Even former top premier league footballer Gareth BALE tweeted about how good dele's goal was.

He has a pure goal scoring knack as well as fight drive determination and incredible athleticism.

I said he'd be world class and compared him to Pogba, Gerrard and Lampard before he arrived.

He's a 25m player already and this is just the beggining.

I think you're right and he may well eclipse them.

Yeah, but now's the time to sell him to Real Madrid for 50M and make a 45M profit. Then they will have Bale, Modric and Alli.

I mean, HOW GOOD IS THAT?

Only joking.

Lampard and gerrard were amazing in totally different ways. Lampard just knew where to be and could run for days. Gerard was a complete package and could play anywhere from wing back to striker in terms of skill set. Not to mention Gerard's passing and shooting ability.

With Alli, not only do I see pedigree for goal like both, and stamina to run for days like both...his approach is unique to them.

I don't think I ever remember either of them pulling off what Alli did at the weekend. It was cracking schoolboy stuff in an EPL game, it would have been expected by maybe Messi, Neymar.

If Alli can fill out out and put some muscle on and adds more driving shots to his game he will be immense.

I saw a flash of VDV Magic in that goal.

If his passing ability/vision grows, even slightly in the direction of Carrick or even Huddlestone, Shelvey, he's going to be complete all round unit.

He is not fit and playing through the pain barrier, looking to rest him on Thursday. I would play him against villa get a yellow card and get him suspended so he misses the Bournemouth game but back for the big United and Liverpool games.

I'm not normally into this way of thinking but have to admit it's not the worst idea
