If Alli keeps progressing then we know what's coming.

This summer alone will see bids from City and maybe United if not Chelsea as well. 40 million plus bids at that.

And then what happens the following season when he says he wants out?

Imperative we qualify for the Champions League.

Where would any of our coveted players go?

Real Madrid or Barcelona, both ruled by egocentric footballers in the financially dodgy La Liga?

Bayern or PSG, both top dogs in one horse races?

Man United (fading club), Man City (to sit on a bench), Chelsea (more bench warming but at a small club), Woolwich (yeah, right)...

So, stay at Spurs, where they will be picked, idolised, new stadium, bright future, CL football (no doubt in my mind).

No brainer really...

If we can keep doing what we are no player will want to leave. If they play well they get a pay raise and poch is making them better players plus as poch always says he only signs the right type of player. That being lads that want to improve not money men. So I'm very relaxed about the future. If he sells a player it's because he has a better one in mind or coming through

Most players of top quality so we are nowhere near that stage yet but if it happens, want to leave for whatever reason.

New challenge, more money, more chances of winning trophies etc...

Nobody should be under any illusion.

You really have the weight of the world on your mind. Cheer up and stop looking for reasons to be upset. Some of us are trying to enjoy the ride after 30 years of sh1t

Here was me thinking we were Tottenham and not Leicester with all due respect to them.

Yep lets enjoy it. After all it will be another 30 years before we get the chance again.

Wow, I doubt you get invited to many parties. It's really depressing reading your posts.

Tries to be diplomatic about the "dive" against Swansea but comes off badly IMO. More media training needed I reckon. Not because I like the boring standardised answers but can stop players being misunderstood which I think Dele will be from that bit.

Looks like it might be a good interview when they air the full thing even if there's little rapport with the interviewer.

He must get a fair bit of media training anyway, and would have been coached before that interview as you could see him stopping to think. He does need to cut out the silliness (inc diving) but he is young when all is said and done and that chest-bumping he was doing last year seems to have gone which is pleasing. I read a lot being said on forums about how he has become a bit of a "big time charlie" believing his own hype, but he came across with some humility in that interview I thought. Confidence is a good thing to have and being a role model at 20 is a big responsibility.

It will be interesting to hear all of it at lunchtime.

Must admit i didnt like to see a tottenham player diving ! its embarrassing to say the least.
It is something refs have to punish but its a high speed game and its understandable if they miss things and have to make a decision one way or the other.
One of the worst divers imho was/is young of man utd.
