I got a bad feeling about his injury, does any1 have any info on him and his progress.

Chance for wimmer and I think he will do just a good a job, but Jan and Toby have that connection

yeah agreed. Hopefully we can score enough goals to make up for any drop in form from our defence in his absence.

Poch has just said he was in pain (knee and ankle) and that he needed further assessment.

Only hear say but rumour I've heard this evening is he could be out for 3 months?
Hopefully b******s 🙏🏼😳
Pics of him in Barcelona on crutches?
My thinking is IF the injuries are that severe surely he wouldn't have gone on trip??
It's apparently knee & ankle

He was supposed to have a scan today so possibly has not if he is in Barcelona, hopefully not even needed one.Crutches are nothing to go by, it could be to take the weight off even a minor injury for a short while. Here's hoping

Don't think it's as bad as first appeared. It was straight after the elbow that he started limping so he might have jolted his knee back a little

a knee twist can be really bad even if it's just from landing funny. I'm hoping you're right but the fact that it came from the elbow rather than a nasty tackle doesn't mean it won't be severe.

Slow motion of Jan going down made his knee look bad ... any news today?

The extent of the damage is unknown to us yet, what I can tell you is Jan has damaged his medial ligiment and partial damage to his ACL,

Most of the damage is with the medial, which is the bright side of this injury

Apparently he could be out 6 weeks or even for the rest of the season? Big blow for us there!

Gutting. Had a feeling it might be a bad one. I'm no physio but as soon as ligaments and ACLs are mentioned it sounds like bad news.

Think this will influence how we set up for Colchester. We have Colchester, Norwich and Watford before we face Man City. I'd have them partnered up in all 3 even though Toby deserves a rest. I'd have them spend every moment of training together and try and force that rapport on them as quickly as possible.

I wouldn't be completely averse to Bentaleb coming into midfield and Dier dropping back though I do think Wimmer coming in is preferable atm.

I don't think it's a season finisher to be honest I think he could be back in 4-6weeks as long as it's not a severe tear which taking into account he needed a more detailed scan points to the fact they had to search for the damage,
Here's hoping anyway been quality this season

We've been heavily linked with the lad from Marseille all window also rumblings we're looking at bartra again from Barca this could force our hand

Surely Fazio can play in the 4th round and give Toby a rest.

Torn mine a couple of times, 4 weeks to be able to train and at least 6-8 before you can play competitively.
