Real shame because he looked to have got to another level of consistency last season and seemed to enjoy being the main man at the back. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later but I agree with how poor our medical team has been for the past two seasons

Could not understand why we did not appeal,Vertonghem’s recent sending off, the second yellow was nonsense as he clearly got a solid touch on the ball. Do we ever appeal?

You can't appeal when it's 2 yellows

you have no grounds to blame the medical staff , they are loads of things why some players are always injured , it is not like every player who has been injured in our squad breaks down when they come back, it is always the same players who are injury prone are the ones that break down , some players break down because of age due to wear and tear and can not play many games as they use to do when they were younger and some have a deep lying problem when they play the injury keeps recurring because there body can no longer handle the rigors of the Premier League like Daniel Sturridge , That is why the club are looking for replacements for Rose, Mousa Dembele and Wanyama.

Scout I blame our medical staff because most of the players that have been out for longer periods always end up having operations in the end to sort the issue out. While an operation should be the last resort if you have to wait nearly 8 or 9 months before resorting to that op then it's bad medical advice.

You can't call Rose or Lamela old and now Wanyama. They all got injured early in a season and operations happened in the summer with that length of time out there's no surprise it took so long for them to start getting form back. That time span you expect for cruciate ligament damage.

Was just the option we've activated. He wants a longer contract, I'd imagine that'll come in the summer.

There are so many reasons Aramak, like our squad being pushed to the limit because players playing too many games in a short period and little rest , trippiers and Eriksen problem had nothing to do with our medical team, there problems were from the world cup. Wanyama has problems with his knees, other doctors other than our medical team are having problems finding solutions for Wanyama that is why they are thinking of selling him, dembele ankles have gone, he even admitted that his ankles can no longer stand up to the physicality of the premier league, Poch even said he has to manage the amount of games Lamela play because his body is struggling to hold up due to the problem he had with his hips. Rose is 28 he is getting to that age where he is now injury prone.

Rose has become injury prone because he is at the age when players become injury prone.
New one on me!

We need Jan (and Toby) to be at their best against City. Against the Spammers, City looked lethal.

City had De Bryne injured most of last season, he's mint when fully fit. I expect them to win the league again.

The spammers alwasy get rinsed by city. There was a stat saying that they’ve conceded 99 goals at their new stadium, 22 of which have been scored by City 😂

Hahaha.

We need to get back to battering them consistently ourselves. Was a dead cert a few years back under Redknapp and for a little under AVB, then iirc they beat us 3-0 at WHL under him and it's been random ever since.

Wow, didn't see this coming. Surely this won't happen unless the fee is big.
