Just want to start some chatter. Does anybody believe Gareth will be back with the Lily Whites? I believe so.

I say summer of 2018, hopefully. Stadium will be done, Gareth should still be in his prime at 28. I'm a Madrid supporter as well, and I'd much rather see him on Spurs. He did incredible things for Tottenham and he was the clear star here. At Madrid, there are many other stars you have to share the spotlight with.

New stadium, Pochettino at the helm, Bale as the captain and playing behind Kane :champions:

Ah mate, Bale off Kane would be immense.

I just can't see us ever warranting those wages. (If he is indeed on what he's on in Football Manager) - 350k

I wouldn't be shocked if Madrid wanted something back in return. - Kane

Our salary cap will be gone when the new stadium is here.

Nice thought ! although i dont think it will ever happen.
I still remember those amazing runs for us a few seasons back ! what an entertaining team with bale starting to show what he could do ! win a game on his own.
What soured it for me was reports that he said " if he doesnt get his real madrid move" " he wont ever play for us again "

I think its more likely he will go to man city as he gets toward his 30th birthday.
Even with the new stadium we couldnt pay what he wants.

I think we're on the cusp of creating something amazing here at Spurs. You make this move in the summer of 2018, to get your team to that next level. We want to be competing for the Prem Title and consistent Champions League play. I believe Levy is getting more and more confident with Poch, and if this continues, confidence in the manager will be through the roof.
