Guardian reporting today that he's in a stand off with the club after refusing to sign a pro contract which was offered to him on his 17th birthday (Dec 3rd) as it stands his second year scholarship runs until the summer meaning he could then walk for next to nothing with man Utd Chelsea man city all chasing the talented youngster who's widely regarded as the best talent in his age group in England

f***ing h*ll this is a huge worry wtf is happening with this?? Why not sign for a club who's brought you through since 8yrs old?

He is not going to Man utd or chelsea because he is already tap up, Barcelona was after him for ages and according reports his head has already been turned. That is football when a club like Barcelona come in for you they is nothing you can do. I just hope Poch tells him that you have a better chance of playing first team football with us.

It has nothing to do with attitude, when a club like Barcelona comes calling it is hard to turn down, Let's hope Poch can persuade him that he has the best opportunity to play first team football and play in a side that is challenging for the top prizes in the foreseeable future.

if he truly wants to leave let him go.

At this stage every talented young player in England must be desperate to be on our books. Think you'd have to be a muppet to think the grass is greener after what we've shown with our young players of late.

Think you're destined to play for Barca one day? Work your way into Spurs first team and prove you're worthy.

Heads been turned.. when youve got other kids his age earning 15k a week and one demanding 50k a week and possibly getting it you know the games f***ed..
For all this season has been worth football has a desease of constant greed.
edwards is good but far from the finished article... winks, josh and nabil in recent years have all made the first team squad at his age.
Its my opinion we're going the right way about this! we've seen so many world beaters at his age just dissappear without trace.

He knows the likes of Barcelona has shown an interest in him and it does not help when you have an agent or family members giving him bad advice.

I wonder if the players who are close to agreeing new contracts will hold fire after seeing the Poch/Fergie photo.

Dont know too much about this kid apart from there is a lot of potential .
He is obviously not the brightest, being badly advised or is in it just for the money.

Any half decent young player who was at a club who are on the up and are promoting through youth would not dream of leaving if you had your head screwed on

Hi all am new here so apologies if this is not the right place for this conversation, the player has undoubted talent, have caught a few games this year, I must say if his head has been turned this much already at such a young age then is the type of player we want around our squad? Although I do think we would be best for his development I wouldn't welcome any negativity that could potentially come with it. I must say I have been extremely impressed with the young lad Tracey who seems to have come on leaps and bounds, I also caught the Academy showcase at Ipswich and was blown away by Phoenix Patterson I think this lad has the potential to be brilliant. I am loving the ethics of our Tottenham at this moment in time and really am excited for next year, and the coming years also. COYS
