2nd best goals per minute ratio in the league after Aubameyang so far this season.

Better than Kane, Aguero, Hazard & etc. Well done Sonny.

Hope we the others can hold the fort without him when he leaves in a few days.

I'm confident enough that the others will step up when called upon, CM remains the worry due to injuries. It also explains N'Koudou's recent integration onto the bench.

N,koudou has asked to be loaned out.............! i dont think his inclusion on the bench was indicative of him stepping up for the loss of son.

I would think it's fairly straight forward thinking to bring him into the equation as he is a genuine left sided player. He may cover that position against Tranmere or at least sit on the bench for the absence of Son purely as a left sided option. He could still get a loan move at the end of Jan if need be.

Didnt think of the end of jan option so stand corrected there.

If he does get a chance when son is at the asia cup then he has to grab it with both hands and prove everyone wrong.

That would be nice, we've seen very fleeting glimpses of a player who can run at a FB and cause problems, be he isn't clever enough to do anything other than play as an old fashioned winger of such. He really ought to be an impact sub but his loan to Burnley wasn't good for anyone. I cling to a very slim hope that Dyche was the wrong man to kick start his Prem career.

I'm happy but in a way I'm pissed off. At least if they'd gone all the way I'd feel him abandoning us before the last couple games was sort of worth it for him. Now we've lost to Chelsea without him for nothing.

I just hope he plays well next time up, if he has a mare it won't be good.

Heís been great for us this season & a huge miss & having him back boosts us massively especially with moura now fit again!
Sonny up top backed up with moura eriksen & lamela is a lot easier on the eye

Our win percentage in the league without Sonny is something like 61%. Without Kane is 100%

Sonny is undoubtedly one of our most important players.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! ..... would like to see him strut his stuff a bit more in the big games.

Undoubtedly has improved but needs to step up against the prem elite.

He's outperforming the prem elite. 2nd best goalscoring record after Aguero based on minutes played. He's being spoken about by neutrals as a potential POTY. Carry this form til end of season and he'll be considered world class.

Thing is he's been streaky in the past. Hope he's now just going to maintain this form.

Was also interested to see he's registered the fastest sprint of our squad this season, higher top speed than Lucas, Sissoko & etc. He also does more sprints a game than any other players.

Interesting argument. Definitely wouldn't think of him as a flat track bully. He's scored some important CL goals for us but you intrigued me so I checked the stats.

This season he has only started 4 of our big league games so far. Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and United.

He scored against Chelsea and Arsenal. Last season he started more of the big games and only appears to have netted Vs Liverpool.

Couldn't get his assist stats but his contributions when Kane is playing goes beyond just goalscoring.

Going to keep an eye on this. It was a complaint people had against Defoe, that he never scored in the big games. Never heard it levelled at Sonny before.
