Poch wasn’t too pleased that Roberto Martinez comment about one of our injured players. He will not be well pleased that the Danish manager has commented about Eriksen. On the other hand it’s nice to have some information about our injured players.....the club tell us very little.

Another thought, Danny Rose sat out England training today....why the h ell,is he with them anyway?

Iím hearing he could be out until the new year!?!?!

His agent has backed up what I heard. No chronic injury but he needs some rest to recover.

If our players keep getting injured with that pace we will struggle to field XI against West Ham. We might now be without Aurier, Vertonghen, Rose, Dembele, Eriksen, Dele, Vorm and Janssen. That's 8 players already and 4 or 5 of them would be in the strongest XI. Poch can't rotate at all right now, on most positions we only have one player available or at best there are the likes of Llorente as backups but Poch doesn't trust them. The only exception is CM where we have Winks, Wanyama, Sissoko and Dier for 2 slots and GK.

Still not sure with Eriksen and Dele being out why Lamela doesn't start. My feeling is that ideally Son and Moura are competiting for one position and then there's the two slots taken up by Dele and Eriksen. Surely with both or one out Erik should be starting as he has a bit of grit to him too or am I looking through rose tinted glasses.

He was rested not dropped. He started Vs Barca midweek, was our motm and gave 110% and looked like he had either cramp or a minor knock, Poch was protecting him as he's been known to break down a lot and we need him.

I often think Lamela could be long term replacement for Mousa, however at the moment it seems to be Winks with the squad we have. Barkley showing form at Chelsea makes me feel we missed out on one. Mind you, we can say that about Maddison and Grealish but also Berahinho!

I personally don't think Lamela is right for that position. He can do the dribbling but he'd run the risk of a red card too often as the timing of his tackles is too erratic.

Also replacing Dembele with Lamela risks us being reliant on another very injury prone player for a key position. If Winks can stay fit and improve then I'm happy with that, but if he keeps picking up knocks we need to risk bringing in a player who can player 50 games a season consistently.

Rabiot seemed a perfect Levy buy. In his last year of contract but probably one of hte bigger boys will pick him off now

We've been trying with him for years. I reckon he'll end up renewing his contract. He's asked them for £170k a week and a big signing on fee according to the press.

Barca rumoured to want to try in January too. Sad fact is we're the poorest team at the top table. Even if we did match Barca's offer most players are going to pick them over us, so fishing in the same waters is difficult.

Hopefully Poch and Levy can work some magic to get him.

We were sniffing around him 2 seasons ago with rumours the deal was done so who knows as we hardly go back to original targets

The best way of kown what poch is thinking in regards ro moving to man utd is if eriksen signs his new deal,, he won't sign if he thinks poch is off in the summer.. If I was him that's the question I'd be asking

He might not sign even if he knows Poch is staying though!

Just think to replace him will cost around the £80m mark and the same for Toby too base on what Liverpool spent on Van Dijk, over 5 years that's over £300k a week. Not sure how much we've offered but Eriksen's probably due between Dele's and Harry's salary and Toby not far behind. If we offered £150k to £200k (which must be around the going rate for that level of player) we still are quids in. If Eriksen or Alderwiereld turn down figures like that it's not about the cash it's just that they want to move on. Cash in and move on.

Possibly in the summer but I still think Barca more likely.

If he is set on leaving we should try and sell him to Madrid and get Isco in return. Iím sure we could get Isco and some change for him.

If we just sell him for money we will find it hard to get someone for the right price/wages.

Not sure who we could get if we sold to barca, maybe Andre Gomes?
