:lmao: He is useless, apart from scoring a few goals. But granted, none of them were in the Champions League.

What do you make of the main points of the post :lmao:

He scored a couple against Coventry or Colchester or whoever it was in the cup...his overall game is poor, he doesn't suit our high tenacity and pressing. My point is he is NOT a striker, not even as a makeshift striker, not for the level we are aiming for.

That's the problem, some people are forgetting he is a winger, that is his natural position :grinny: .
Like I said, goal scoring wingers who are capable of scoring in double figures are hard to come by, He did not just score in the cup, he scored that lovely goal against palace and I remember him setting up Kane for the equaliser. I think he is a good player playing in a team that plays a high pressing game that does not suit his game.

Some players struggle to hit it off and may flourish at another club.

Yup. A player who can score double figures, with vision, good in the air and a decent pass and cross on him is far from useless. Not sure why people hate Chadli so much. He's not suited to us but he's a h*ll of a lot better than some of the players they seem to want instead for more money who are equally ill suited.

The only place I could see Eriksen developing better than Spurs right now is Atheltico.

Could see him also at Juve. Just don't see much better options.

As in Real or Barca, Bayern wouldn't be good for his development.

So why not just sign the contract

Reports that eriksen's agent is demanding he is put on £150,000 a week ??
I'd take with a pinch of salt but if true then see ya later Christian

If the reports of his wage demands are correct, then he is not going to be a Spurs player for much longer. Is it just me, or has he often appeared to be a reluctant part of our club? Maybe it's just his body language. Apparently a couple of Italian clubs are interested in these developments. Will Poch select him today?

How much would we all take for him as we speak.

£30-35 million, off the top of my head... or is that a bit steep?

He is a creative player and I don't think he values the running about closing down element of our play, even though he does do it.

If it is true he is on c£35k a week - which I find it easy to believe - then he is undervalued. We won't pay him £150k but might get it / close to it elsewhere, and I bet £100k would be the top we would pay.

I wonder how long we can get away paying players relative peanuts? It is a problem which will exacerbate if we can become one of the big four rather than big six - quite a big 'if'.

Alas, to win this Prem title means spending big on wages and transfer fees. We will not get involved in all of that while Mr Levy is in charge. Any of our players whose head is turned by the lure of a more lucrative salary will not get anywhere near parity by staying at WHL. If money is their prime concern then we will always lose them.

And yes, I know Leicester 'did it' last season without the need to spend, but that really was a one off.

But it makes sense for him. If he's 35k with us and I don't think he wants to leave tbh. But he can get 100-150 a week at every other top four club in UK France Germany or Spain.

He was s***e today in fact first hour any moves we did manage to create it broke down once it made its way to eriksen

No way should we be held to ransom by someone who only turns up 2 out 5 games

He's good & still only 24ish? But he needs to find a consistent level he's had slack for it his entire career for Ajax & Denmark he goes missing to often which is frustrating because when he's on it he's class

I want him to stay (obviously) he's one of the most talented players in the squad & I don't believe the rubbish being reported about him demanding such a huge wage
Hopefully he stays but he needs to be better & on a far more consistent basis
