I'd love him to sign and stay for few more years. Don't think there is a single player that we could possibly sign who would have enough quality and creativity to replace Eriksen. We're not the same team without him and if he's gone then Poch would have to think of totally differnt approaches against packed defences as without Eriksen we just don't know how to unlock them.

Are all of our players just dicks?

If the entire squad is unsettled because Eriksen wants to wait and see if Madrid want to sign him as their B option then I don't really get the whole wanting him at the club.

Could be a mix of selfishness, in that some they know they play better with a creative force like Eriksen in the team, and resentment from the loyal players that he is rocking the boat.

Ronaldo was fuming when Di Maria left Madrid as he was his top assister.

Either way now windows shut they all need to grow a pair and show the fans some determination to right the ship.

Keep the crazy man away from the petty cash, he's throwing chocolate hobnobs in the bin and buying rich tea.

Chocolate hobnobs are passed their sell by date, have grown legs and are making their own way to the bin. Last chance to sell em part exchange for rich tea, I'd take it before they go off and the rot spreads to the rest of the food in our cupboard.

Letís be honest as well...Dybala is more an after 8 than a rich tea.

Why is this fraud our set piece taker?? His corners are s***e, we score 1 or 2 goals a season from corners? He hasnít scored a free kick in ages. His dead balls rarely beat the first man. Iíve thought this for ages but we insist. I hope sessegnon takes over if he can work his way into the team.

Goals from corners aren't that common anyway, he's not that bad statistically tbh. Problem is as fans we see him hit the first man so often!

As for free kicks he scored one last game of the season but before that hadn't scored a fk in the league in years. I'd have Lamela on them I think.

To be fair Kane should be on free kicks if he is a goalscorer. He is probably reluctant due to Hodgson putting him on free kicks and corners and getting slated for losing against Iceland. Lamela's corners aren't great either by the way.

Spurs have always had a problem maximising set pieces in my opinion. It is like we think we are beyond it and then teams like Burnley or Watford exploit us, which would have been Stoke or Bolton in the past.

From Levy's latest comments, I could see how it was possible that Eriksen wanted to stay but the club didn't want to offer him a contract.

In other words, his rebellion may be unfairly criticised.

Granted, the likes of Hazard still played when they were in their last year, but things were more clear-cut before that preseason imo.

If Eriksen wanted to stay it was because none of the big clubs want him, but what I have read and from Mourinho's comments Eriksen has already made up his mind that he does not want to be here.

Have you seen [insert here's] free kicks.

Ironically our best free kick taker is Dier but some fans don't appreciate he is a footballer.

My point is Kane has not been very good, He has taken ten free kicks and only scored 2 in his career so far, one was a deflected goal against Aston villa in his debut season another deflected goal against Stoke in the league . Apart from having a lack of pace That is probably Kane's only weakness in his game. My link

And I should imagine heís burned his bridge at both ends in the process.

Once Eriksen realises Real, Barcelona etc.. have moved on heíll have to settle for second tier teams now. A shame, could of gained world class status .

It's rumoured that he's already agreed a move somewhere, I've long banged the drum that the club in question is Barcelona.

I think it will be bests for all if he left in January. He's a shadow of his former self performance wise and needs a fresh start, we get a bit of cash and others will get a chance to fill his boots. At the moment it just feels like just pulling off a plaster vert very slowly.

Yet he can be useful as a late impact sub, his free kick lead to the corner that he took for Verts goal against Wolves. He haven't had to chase a game often under Maureen, so maybe he'll become useful under that guise.

it was a decent delivery but in all honesty if they'd have even had a single player aware of where Vertonghen was it would have been dealt with.

Traore had been instructed to be ready to do the fast break, really Vertonghen should have been his man but he was wandering aimlessly around the edge of the box so he could catch us out.
