I would rather see Njie loaned than sold.

But I'm not going to be heartfelt if he is. He's 23 and not shown in flashes he's got something. Levy won't keep doing transfers one way.

They can't all have a Lamela Renaissance.

This boy is two footed and so could become a direct run at defence option in our AM band.

Not everyone can be Mahrez. This feels like a second spin of the wheel at Pacey French attacker.

It could very well work out in the manner Njie did, let's find out.

If ,as reported we get N'Koudou and N'Jie goes to Marseilles on loan, will we still go for another, slightly more experienced attacking midfielder? After all, if we wanted a midfielder to boost our squad, we are not actually doing that, we are just doing a swap. Also, we are spending £11million on a new player and getting nothing,at the moment for N'Jie. This might impact on money available for someone like Malli or Wijnaldum for example

You'd have to see us break even on Njie-Nkoudou, and see the departure of Chadli, Mason, possibly Onomah loan, possibly even Pritchard.

I'm happy after Levys effort to see us ease off and give Pritchard a chance. Look for a RCB and a Vorm swap out.

Exactly that mate,

Njie barely played through injury so why some seem to have such one sided views on the lad beats me,
Let's hope this latest 21yr old prospect hits the ground running otherwise it will be off to the scrap heap in 12 months

Apparently Spurs are reluctant to let njie go & want this deal done without njie going otherway also player wants to stay & fight for his place,
BUT Marseille not willing to sanction N'koudou deal until replacement is found

My opinion is I think njie will go out on loan if not then it could turn into a waiting game whilst they find another replacement

Alli is 19, Dier was 20 when we signed him. Both have played over 30 games for the club. Not been injured or unfit the whole time.

Njie is 23. He's in Mason Pritchard age bracket and he's not "One of our own".

Are you starting to see why it's fair to have a high opinion of them, and a more skeptical one of Njie?

He's a forward who has 1 goal 1 assist in 11 appearances after us paying €12m.

Sorry mate but Spurs comes first.

A 23 year old import being injured or unfit between November and May is not a good reason to keep said 23 year old whatsoever, it's off putting for me anyway.

Let's loan him, see what he can do and try another speed freak Bielsa/Mitchell/Poch rate.

Surely you would welcome this if it mean Pritchard might be more likely to stay?

Arrived end of pre season and got a knee injury in December.

Cmon Rog even by your standards it's knee jerk to write him off already.

Surely it's hard to base a valid opinion on n'jie on such a small sample size? In that small sample size he didn't look great in most games, but against city showed potential. Would be harsh if he's sold but if he is then poch will be basing it on what's gone on in training and not on the pitch.

Pritch is off apparently for 8m I read the other day, can't remember where but think it might have been Middlesbrough or Bournemouth.

As for n'koudou is never heard of him until 2 days ago lol

Well if he's not at the club in any shape or form by September than my standards might be in line with Poches.

I don't buy into the "He look very very good pre season" Spurs.com jargon.

It was the same with Holtby, same with Soldado after about 3 months. I'll stick to my guns and say I'd prefer he gets a loan, or gets sold if he is in fact dead stock.

We were the better team long before he made the pitch. And outpacing a tracking back Kolarov on the break and hitting a sideways simple low pass for 20k a week is hardly evidence of potential.

Spun him like a b!tch, and wasn't a simple pass. Watch it again. Not saying he's a world beater but some of your judging on players is not the same as mine I'll say - bolasie

I find this post a tad patronising & a little rich if I'm honest but hey ho

On njie rog like I've said the entire time none of us have seen enough to have such one sided views as to say "f*** him" but if poch sees fit to loan him or sell then I trust him & his opinion on doing so

From what I've heard this evening poch/the club don't want njie as part of the deal & would like him part of the squad this season now this might not be possible if they see N'koulou as a more important option but I don't believe njie going the otherway is cut & dry
Also it's been interesting & nice to see the majority of fans on social media etc actually against njie leaving due to not being able to be given a proper chance last season :niceone:

How? (Patronising or rich)

Pritchard or Njie, choose.

I've seen Erik Edman score a 55 yard screamer at anfield....

I'm not in love with Bolasie. He's too expensive. But any suggestions about him were essentially suggesting he has physical attributes our attack is lacking.

Also you're judging a man in a team relying on Glen Murray, Chamakh, Frazer Campbell or whichever other spurious striker to get goals.

I agree he's too old for the price they want.

How can you compare Nije's Stats to Georgies, when we have not hardly seen enough of him for us to make a judgement, the poor guy's season was riddled with injury and when he did play he was lacking in match sharpness :grinny:

I compared stats in France pre coming to England? They're pretty similar.

Njie is older and has struggled to stay injury free or fit. So I'm comfortable with a new punt if that's what Spurs choose to do.

Knowing Levy, it would probably be next Monday until it is officially confirmed.

I have seen the stats, it is not bad considering last season was his breakout year, he hardly had a look in since then. To be honest I am not fussed if he stays or go's because Poch have seen enough of him to make a judgement, I was just sticking up for the poor guy because he does not deserve to be written off.
