Signs new 5yr deal :niceone:

Had a really impressive preseason & this lad is the only reason mason was allowed to leave imo

Apart from a few bench warmings in the PL, I'm hoping he will get starts in the domestic cups - at the very least.

Yeah hoping he gets some proper minutes against Gillingham. Really like what I've seen of him so far

Yeah he should start vs Gillingham definitely! This lad is quality! I work with his uncle and he's told me Winks has been promised game time this year.

Edwards has also been offered game time. Risky thing to do really.

These guys that seemingly have potential, from where im looking its a clear case of give them some game time (how else do they get prem experience) or loose them.

Winks is surely ahead of Josh Onomah now.

Very happy for the lad. Hope he continues developing.

Hope Edwards gets over his injury and makes a similarly impressive debut in due course.

We have had a number of players over the last few years, especially midfielders, who were expected to produce big things for the club, but never came through sufficiently really. AlexPritchard, Jake Livermore, Ryan Mason, Tom Carrol to name a few recent ones. However, I genuinely believe that Harry Winks is going to be the one who really makes it. A fine young player and being brought along very sensibly by Poch.
