Yep its odd alright. Only lost against the bottom clubs, and has the best record of the top 6 clubs taking the most points from top 6, weird. :niceone:

They are brilliant against teams that want to play and leave space of pockets between the back four and midfield .
They are not so great against teams that pack the midfield and a narrow back four

not me. We're level on points with them atm and can't catch City, regardless of secondary allegiances if you support Spurs it's in your interest for Liverpool to lose. You want them to pull 3 points ahead of us Journo?

Would agree with that yidio. Never thought about our points difference though, so on that basis i wont be rooting for them, its just that ive never liked city.

Haha it's a sound reason. I'd rather they lost their unbeaten run to us though

I'd never heard of them until recently :grinny:

I do wonder how much their emergence has dis-jointed the original prem top 4 and if that has aided our own rise or hindered it.

That a good point had not thought of it like that. In fairness there mini rise does seem to ave upset the equalibreum a bit.

There are definitely pros and cons to it, the top end players get more evenly spread but we're more likely to lose players to the vast wealth.

I suppose it boils down to accepting a position on the food chain where buying young talent and developing is the realistic way to compete. It's easier if you realise that the top end marquee signing is unattainable or indeed not the desire at all.

Always going to be the poorer relation to the top dog, but more on a par with those directly below. Until we can convince Bill Gates to join our ranks.

Thats how to beat city pool were in a league of their own today, fair play to them well done. Not done us no favours though.

What a game. Fair play Klopp - they did a job on City today. Still nearly f***ed it up somehow but such an exciting match to watch.

2nd-5th has 3 points in it at present, potentially up to 6 if utd win tomorrow. I wouldn't want to bet on who finishes where at all.
