Yep, fair play to Klopp, still, the frailties remain evident.

I do think that City have gone off the boil of late, they were blowing everyone away on a weekly basis. Still think they have far to much to let their lead slip, but it is possible they feel fatigued. If they stay in the CL and someone else goes out in the next round it could get interesting. Sadly I don't think it would help our chances, I still think we will do well to grab 4th in this season on the road.

I'm also not entirely convinced by Salad, I think he (and players like him) are a big part of the reason why teams concede a lot of goals. A sort of VDV player, an unreliable defender. Sometimes they track back, sometimes they don't.

Also, Klopp took Can off and replaced him with Milner, not really a great call when protecting a lead.

Just when you think Klopp has his team playing the way he wants, his locksmith makes a bolt for the door. :lmao: :lmao:

Can we please put the "Liverfool have strengthened" quote to bed now. They've lost their best player ...........mid-season.

There would be a full scale revolt if we did that.

I told a mate to stick cash on them losing their next game after they beat City. He just texted me to thank me for the tip, forgot to act on it myself!

a great tweet I saw today

"I remember when Klopp went to Liverpool and that convinced all their fans he would bring Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan, Gundongan and Gotze with him. Instead, Jordan Henderson became their captain, Coutinho left and they still don’t have a goalkeeper." :lmao:

Obviously Salah and Mane (and to an extent Firmino) are having fantastic seasons so I don't think those players would necessarily be a huge upgrade on what they have, but it's funny none of his ex players have joined him and he still hasn't fixed their GK issue.

He did bring a keeper in, just wasn't all that. I did find it strange when some said they had strengthened this window, but then I do rate Coutinho.

Do you think Mane is playing well this season ? I think he's missed a fair bit through injury and seems a little sulky.

I wound my son in law up after Liverpool beat City 3-0 last week. Liverpool fans especially him were so full of it.
As Imtold him the last time a Scouser got so excited about 1 leg was when Paul McC artney met Heather Mills.
Hes had the last laugh now though after last nights game.

Liverpool fans do my head in. Only ever met one City fan so they don't really annoy me. For example our Instagram page is being spammed daily by bitter Liverpool fans. It's a Spurs page, why are you there? Now they're giving it the bigun about the only trophy we can is the golden boot.

I really hope Liverpool get absolutely destroyed in the semi finals and all these pricks retreat back to whatever hole they crawl out of. Embarrassing fans for an embarrassing club.

Sorry Tom, but myself and the much missed Mr. Greaves were great admirers of Klopp and even the most hardened Yid must admit that they are playing scintillating football. Yes, we were unlucky to lose to Juve (I was there) but we are not in the semis, the Dippers are. With this draw they must be favourites for the final. No, I wouldn't swap Klopp for Poch, but credit where it's due. He's done a good job. Both the young wing-backs are ones for the future. The Dippers are side-by-side with us for becoming teams to define the next few years. I hope they do well in the Champions League - it seems churlish to wish otherwise. That's not being disloyal btw...

I liked Klopp before he went there. Has done a fair few things to put me off a bit since joining... But honestly their fans are what creates the animosity in me.

Klopp is without doubt an arrogant arse on many occassions, and lets not forget, we rinsed them at Wembley this season. With the addition of Van Dyke at a princely sum and through the sale of Coutinho he's finally found/stumbled upon some consistencey of sorts. I'm not going to get to carried away with his achievements just yet, Klopp is very likely to lose against Roma because he has a knack of losing (and winning) when you least expect. Plenty of Pool fans wanted him gone not so long ago, his antics do rub some up the wrong way, much like Jose and Pep do, it just seems more annoying when a German tries to be funny.

so did Brendan Rodgers...

Must admit I'm jealous of a few of their attacking signings though. Mane's not had a great season but still wish we'd bought him when we were linked

Yep, Salad has had an unbelievable season, and your regrets over Mane are vastly out weighed by the "Not often mentioned in the media" regrets of anyone linked to Chavsville. Although it's best swept under the carpet.

Pool are playing better, but it took Klopp a fair while to find the defender the entire world knew he needed. Can't really give him kudos as it took to long although the on-going ignorance of Wangers DM issues makes 2 years seem like the blink of an eye.

Kudos belongs to Poch in the hunt for a CB of note as he's found 2 before Klopp got 1 for more money...........Poch wins yay !!

What on Earth were Roma playing at. High line with Fazio against pace, who would attempt such a stupid tactic in 2018?! Didn't we prove that was suicide a few times when he was with us lol
