Yep, one trick ponies and I still have no idea how they won the league playing that way the whole season.

One thing I hate in football is the lack of loyalty and surely winning the league like that deserves a bit of loyalty through rough patches.

WOW !!

Even the 2-1 away to Seville wasn't a bad result. Who on earth is getting the job that makes sacking Rainy not look a complete joke.

What more can they do to de-value their title success. Might as well throw the trophy on ebay.

Absolutely absurd. Wonder if the players were calling for it and stitched him up

My wife who doesnt know much about football was absolutely shocked when this came over the news before the spurs game.
She said " But he won the premiership with them just a few months back "
I think that sums up everybodys thoughts on this latest chapter of football travesty.

I see it's all over the papers that they told the owners to pull the trigger. How on earth can you lose the dressing room after what he did for them last season. Bizarre.

Supposedly they were comparing his organisation and motivation unfavourably to when Pearson kept them up. I reckon it's more down to Kante bot being replaced, their CBs being too old particularly when lacking his cover and teams (finally) working out how to play against them. Yes he perhaps should have pre empted these issues better in the Summer but I don't see how a manager can have the organisational skills to do what he did last season and lack them this season.

Several reports Ive read one from Jamie Redknapp seems to indicate that certain players have been winging behind his back and that may have had someinput to this.

Thats is about spopt on mate, your wife knows more than you think :niceone: But having said that mate its what us oldies have been on about for ages how the game has changed now so so much, and really that sevilla result isn't so bad, so yes I think along with some pundits there has been some behind the scenes winging .

Ranieri did f*** all. Everyone else on here was saying how annoying they were at the time.

Kante won them the league as he enabled everyone else on the pitch to do whatever it was there were doing well.

Ranieri has shown he is a so so manager by not being able to come up with a non Kante tactic over the course of 8-9 months. Totally his fault.

Let's hope they go down and we go in for Mahrez

One very good midfielder doesn't win you the league on his own. Ranieri fostered a winners mentality in that team. What they did was remarkable and just because we were 2nd best there's no need to not give credit. They didn't win pretty but Mourinho's considered a genius for winning titles grinding out dull football week in week out. Leicester for the first half of the season played attacking, exciting football. Then when they realised they might win started grinding out results to get them over the line. That's good management, organisation, coaching, motivation (and yes a barrel load of luck in injuries and form) but to say the manager did f*** all is nonsense imho.

Leicester
14/15 Premier league survivors
15/16 + Kante = Premier league champions
16/17 Potentially Relegated

Chelsea
14/15 Premier League Champions
15/16 Premier League Mid Table
16/17 + Kante = Premier League Champions

Evidence suggests it is more to do with Kante than Ranieri. Other than Ranieri being completely responsible for fielding formations that pretend Kante is still there attempting to make it tick like a 4-5-2 when he isn't.

Leading them to a disgraceful yet hilarious relegation battle.

As a spurs fan who was jeered over Leicester winning it, by fans of big clubs who didn't have anything better to talk about, I'm delighted at what's going on up there.
