Yes, good signing but I think we're still one or two offensive minded platers short to challenge on all fronts. We need one attacking midfielder and one central midfielder and there's little only two hurs left.

So it means we now have Kane, Llorente and Janssen as Bony's transfer took so long that Janssen's transfer did not come to fruition

Dying for pace and looking at this bloke who is slower than the entire front line. Why are we not going after Lamar, Draxler, Mahrez! Have some ambition!

He's a useful signing and an upgrade on Jansen. He's an absolute beast in the air and will give us a plan B attackwise when we're facing 2 banks of 4 and cannot break through. I can see Eriksen and Trippier crosses being buried by him.

wanted him when AVB was after him, let's hope he excels for us but that we don't need him too often.

LOL that was seven years ago when he was at his peak is when I wanted him. Is Jansen still at the club.

I think the club were thinking along the lines that jannsen wants first team football and was on his way with brighton being interested and so signed llorent as kanes fill in !

Maybe jannsen thought a big dutch club might come in for him but that league doesnt have the dosh.

His chances are even worse now because he will be 3rd choice behind kane and llorente.

That's exactly the way I look at it. If he's in the area with Kane at set pieces they're both going to be difficult to pick up. Even at 32 he will cause defences problems in the air. That's exactly why Chelsea wanted him. Sorry VJ but he's more dangerous than you.

Great experience, unlucky not to have more Spain caps. Would have but Spain had so many super strikers at the time. All we need now is an attacking midfielder/winger and another speedy box to box player..

Llorente is beginning to look like another Janssen or Soldado. Shame really

Yeah must be hard to go from first choice for last several seasons playing game in game out - to getting 10 mins every other game and a cup game once a month and expected by the fans and coach to maintain your sharpness. I don't think it's logical really but at the same time u wouldn't drop Harry just to give Fernando a game...

Actually give him more game time? You canít be serious. A 1% Kane is better than a 100% Llorente. Although Jansen was rubbish at least he actually tried when I came on. Llorente stands there like a plank and then is laughing with the Arsenal Spanish players after losing a massive derby while the likes of Vertonghen are walking off with a face like thunder. Useless and would have Soldado and Jansen every day of the week.

I think he lacks sharpness and Confidence , so we can not really judge his true ability but one thing you can not judge Jansen on , and that is effort, at least Jansen tried to improve his circumstances. I always worry when a player looks happy to just be here.

Apparently agreed terms with Galatasaray.

If true, our long ball opinion is no more ! Always liked him and felt sorry he could never get a decent run of games under his belt. Never threw his toys out of the pram which I suspect will always be a problem for someone playing second fiddle to Kane and played with a smile on his face.

My argument all along with these players is that they have not been useless. It's harsh to call them that if they clearly try hard in the shirt. Pleased for him and Sissokho.

Proves a point that just throwing money at fixing a problem isn't always a better option. £60M for Pulisic ?????
