RBL are an exception, predominantly because they put their membership price at a figure only the red bull exec employees could afford, as a subsidised loophole for total commercial control, so they are the only German team with no fan control.

They will eventually outgrow Dortmund and will rival Bayern.

If Bayern let them, they must be bored s***less in that league.

Financially Bayern won’t really have a choice, it will be huge fan base versus leviathan corporation posing as a football team for exposure.

Will be an interesting watch as it unfolds.

I am seeing griffiths has italian clubs juventus & roma joining rb leipzig in trying to sign the youngster.

Getting him to sign a pro contract is proving to be a nightmare and he is willing to join the exodus of young english players going abroad to get first team opportunities.
Apparently he has tweeted "off to germany " ?

Other reports have Llorente definately being sold this summer and griffiths stepping up to the first team as second choice striker behind kane.

Going to be long summer for spurs fans with bale return rumours gathering pace and one of its bright young prospects trying to force pochs hand.

Major changes arent needed at spurs just a tweak here and there.

We arent going to go toe to toe with the likes of man city but we are good enough to beat all the others.

Looks like the lad is staying at spurs .

They want to see how reo performs playing in the u 23s before promising him a go at senior level.

The lad couldnt see a way through kane in getting match time and thats where the doubt came from.

Marcus edwards future at spurs is less clear.

Signed a two year deal. Worried by the short length but maybe he wants some assurances over the next two years. Some good signings today!

He's not 18 yet so can't sign a long contract anyway.

If true, The FA needs to remove the stupid rule that wonít allow someone to sign a professional deal until they are 18.

It is only a rumour but apparently comes from a reliable source.

It was believed he would be going on tour with the rest of the (available squad) but he wasnt chosen.

Rumour is that he has gone to lyon to break into the main team there.

If true then it goes to show that the potential talent drain and current trend of youngsters going to germany and elsewhere to get a fair chance hasnt yet hit home with the people in charge who matter and who are responsible for their development.

Does seem a little strange as we seemed to work hard to get him signed up

I am not sure it is a rumour now, I am hearing Lyon is close to signing him. It is strange how all of a sudden english clubs are now under threat from foreign clubs poaching their top prospects especially the german and french clubs. How the tables turned.

Well they (foreign clubs)are targeting english youth who of course think they should be in ahead of players like eriksen and kane.

They are only young but believe they are getting the short straw.

They dont have much patience at 17-18 years old and see what top players are earning and want some of the same .................NOW.

It really is some sort of youth exploitation that needs dealing with sooner than later.

Or itís just the youth realizing they can actually get paid and receive 1st team football instead of being in the academy and playing in the U-23s at best.

Remove the shackles of not being able to sign a prospect until they are 18 will remove a lot of this trend, for then they will have to buy the prospect from the club.

This happening has further annoyed tottenham fans along with the failure to do any business in the transfer window.

Seems like its gone full circle that we used to poach foreign kids and now they are poaching ours.

I did read somewhere that griffiths when moved from the u17s to the u21s at the latter part of the season didnt score a single goal.

He,s gone mate ! he was already disillusioned at being 3rd or 4th choice behind harry kane but being left out the usa squad finished him with spurs.

The current trend is to give the youngsters a chance otherwise they go where they will get a chance.

Loads of money wasted by us on his development as a player that in the end benefits another club, but we will get some compensation.

Lessons to be learned here i think.

Griffiths joins Noni Madueke & Keanan Bennetts on walking away from the club in recent months.

More will follow if they dont get to show what they can do in the domestic cups that poch isnt inerested in.

Troy Parrott, Luke Amos & Oliver Skipp could all go the same way plus a few others.

No point panicking. He's yet to prove himself as someone who can step up to senior level. Could be another Coulibaly who shines at youth level but can't do the same at the top. Even if he does well at Lyon we know that's no guarantee of being prem ready or N'jie would have worked out.

It's a shame but it happens...
