You ever heard a song and then you cant get rid of it !

I was listening to beatle rip off songs and heard Beady eye,s (Liam Gallagher) ...... The beat goes on ! ( on you tube)

Quite a good song by the thicko but totally contrived and just a beatle rip off song.

a lot of Beatles stuff wasn't wholly original, they had a few blatant rip offs themselves. Everyone has influences from somewhere, I find it easier to just accept liking something regardless of where it may have stolen the idea from.

The beatles were influenced by the late 50s early 60s rock n roll era but then moved on themselves into the psychedelic era.(late 60s)

Tom ! Listen to the beatles "I am the walrus " & then listen to Liam Gallaghers " The beat goes on "

Best music ever for me was the 60's some very early 70's :niceone:
Before You Judge My Life, My Past, Or My Character,

Walk In My Shoes, Walk The Path I Have Traveled, Live My Sorrow,
My Doubts, My Fear, My Pain, And My Laughter.

REMEMBER

Everyone Has A Story,
When You've Lived My Life,Then you Can Judge Me.

Not denying the Gallagher's are heavily influenced by the Beatles, just saying the Beatles liked to "rip" stuff off too:

That was quite interesting tom thanks.

I was a kid in the 60s and the beatles were the band that set new trends.

Really weird though i was in a supermarket with the wife and heard this music they were playing and said to the wife " sounds like the beatles " " but it aint the beatles " then i discovered it was beady eye.

I wasnt a fan of oasis and definately not liam gallagher ! noel was ok but liam a complete thug.

It was only a matter of time before someone knocked liam,s teeth out ! do you remember that ? lol.

BTW ! liam is playing near me in august.............. Hylands Park, Chelmsford.

Not for me though .

I was happier when the "phoney Beatles Mania has bitten the dust" - Joe Strummer 1979
