Haven't seen or heard why a red was given, but it appears Wangs announcement has worked after all. Unbelieveable.

Watched the game. Atletico did a number on em - Arsenal were all over them, pressing and creating chances but weren't clinical enough and got undone by a long ball. Koscielny had a mare.

Atletico have conceded 4 goals all season at home in LA Liga and are unbeaten there in the league.

Had the radio on (bath night) and listened to the last 30 mins. Andy Townsend wrote them off with no chance after the 1-1. Quite strange even with Atletic's home stats. It's a semi in Europe with a big prize. Strange

So now that Wenger is leaving Poch is going to be the longest serving manager in the Premier League club, isn't he? I mean since he was appointed all the clubs in the Premier League will have changed their managers at least once.

yeah think that's right - thought it when Arsene announced it.

Madness - maybe the age of sticking with a manager is truly over.

It would make a change for us to stick with one, where does Poch sit on our longest serving managers list ? Must be our longest prem manager I would think.

feel bad for Wenger really... not the way to go out... on the other hand I'm glad Arsenal don't get to rub a trophy in our faces and say they've had a better season than us.

Just remember, Wang didn't see it. He's as self serving as the rest of them. He's a very wealthy man

I see he has come out and said spurs might have to sell harry kane to help pay for the new stadium ? (bbc Transfer gossip)

Just wonder what he knows about spurs finances or if he is going by what the goons had to do to get their new stadium ?

He had a lot to say about our wage structure last summer, claimed we won't be able to keep our players.

Whilst we can see he has the obvious point, since then he has lost his best player after offering him 350K a week and given Ozil the same deal in January. Ozil has missed a lot of games.

So the evidence suggests, even if we matched those wages, someone can pay more. The bloke is a fossil, and is a lost prophet. He ain't going to go quietly. He'll become classless to boot.

He was asked a direct question about the difference between when they built their stadium and us building ours. He gave some answers that have been taken out of context and cracked a joke about selling to Arsenal. Not as classless as it comes across. He didn't say we'd have to sell Kane, just said if we did we'd get a lot of money for him which is different to when he was buying top players for 10M
