how the h*ll does something with figures of 9.0.0. come out and win at 50/1?

And now the 1000G 66/1 what the? biggest priced winner ever of the race.

would have been a brilliant double those two 50/1 & 66/1!!!!

I actually looked at that one mike and also grey britain but discounted them because of their big prices.

I think i pulled back 5 points on yids but we both predicted the 2 favourites that obliged.

Prize is a spurs vs arsenal dvd ! the one where danny rose scored that spectacular goal in a 2-1 win.

the results of our comp are as follows:

The clear winner is; YIDIO Very well done to you mate.

The scores were as follows SAT SUN TOTAL
YIDIO 43 23 66
BB 28 25 53
ME 08 03 11

Have enjoyed doing our comps, its a challenge and a bit of fun. But now we've had three, and I've managed to lure you both into a sense of false security, I will start and perform in the next one, :lmao: which by the way is up to you guys as to what you want and when you want to do it.

AS someone suggested could run a monthly one of just the SATURDAY TELEVISED RACES?

thanks for entering. :niceone:

Good fun, yep those winners today were impossible to pick without a dart board. I did put the two short priced favs in a double and got just short of 3/1. They were the only 2 I picked with any confidence tbh. I find the Oaks is also a difficult race to find a winner in, must be a female thing. Just for fun I'm going to put a bet up that I've placed for tomorrow.

Mike!.....lol.... Just to make the score look a bit more decent for me the final total was Yids 63 Me 53 you 11.

I think you gave yids points for a 3rd (barend boy 6 ran)or 4th place(victory angel 15 ran) that didnt apply due to amount of runners but it didnt matter because he did fantastic on his first day selections with 4 going in ! well done that man and there is a dvd here as a prize if you want it.

Something different might be the derby & oaks trials throughout may, and then the epsom meetings featuring those 2 great races in june.

The derby and oaks trials begin at chester this week and then throughout may you have trials at lingfield ,goodwood etc....so just selections for those races and then the big epsom meetings. Just an idea !

Betweeen us we might come up with the derby winner ?

Yids pm me if you want the dvd ? care of address is fine & mike you do need to chuck a couple of favs in now and again LOL.

Thouroughly enjoyed it .........! great fun...... the others on here dont know what they are missing.

All good fun.

It's a very kind offer Beagle but I'm happy to let someone else have a go at winning the prize, mostly because I'm fuming with Danny Rose and have been for most of the season.

I'll let you guys decide the next comp. but keeping them short and sweet might be best way to go.

I still think an avatar prize was a good Idea.

Ok will carry the dvd over to the next round then.

Yidio i think that is a good idea to keep them short and sweet so maybe just the epsom meetings throughout derby and oaks week because you also have the diomed stakes and coronation cup.

Good luck in early june then you two !

This isn't looking good, most have drifted in the market and Top Billing is now a Non-Runner, I'll do well to break even as things stand. :grinny: No harm done though.

Well that turned out to be a pile of Horse ....

2 Non-runners, a beaten odds on fav and only one winner with one to run, a short lived tipping stint. :lmao: Quite pathetic really.
