Beagle, I've had an idea, not sure if Journo is interested as he seems to be having a bit of a rest from football/the forum.

It's a tipster challenge for two people to go head to head, basically you take it in turns to pick one horse to win each day, to keep it friendly we should both start with a 1 stake and let the winnings roll.

There are no rules about prices, it can be from any british race which then includes Ireland. See how long we can keep it going with the target being 7 days. Bragging rights when one of us picks a loser.

If you're up for it we can start tomorrow, but I suggest a set time for posting each days pick.

As you don't do internet bookies I'll place a 2 bet and we'll split the winnings if we make it to 7 days, if we can get a run going the wager will increase the pressure and fun .

Ok,

Take it i understand this right ? we take it in turns daily ! we both name a selection each day by 9am ?

Not up on form at all apart from the 3 year old classic colts so this is pure guess work.

Richard Hannon always had speedy youngsters in my day and usually they needed a run before you considered investing money on them.

So going back to the 1980s ...........lol...... and using past experiences and all that............COME ON LEICESTER 6-15 at Windsor,s evening fixture tonight.

Good luck

I thought we could alternate each day. So you pick one today, then I pick one tomorrow etc.

That way we are sort of working together and still trying not to be the one that picks a nag.

I was going to place a 1 bet on the first selection and let any return ride onto the following days pick.

If we can keep it going for 7 days it would become a 7 horse accumulator, but as you don't do internet it would be difficult for you to place that amount of bets and I believe you live somewhere remote.

So I said I would place a 2 bet and split any resulting profit, but if you want, we could donate it to charity. However, it won't be that easy to pick 7 on the bounce, and it could become a lame effort until we get past 3/4 winners. If we can get it going it will be quite good. (I hope).

I have placed the bet on your selection "Come on Leicester" at odds of 4/6. If it wins I'll let you know a running total on our stake. Good Luck

Sorry yids i wasnt sure so made a selection anyway.

Happy to let you choose where any winnings go.

Yes we are quite in the sticks out here not far from foulness.

If you have pay pal or online banking i can transfer some betting stake dosh for you.

Let me know.....! always like to pay my way & thanks for doing it.

Come on leicester must have been backed early ! thought it was better odds but its a start if it wins.

No worries, you owe me a pound.

Just looked at it's price and it's being backed, stands at 4/9 now.

Don't worry to much about prices, it's important just to find that daily winner.

Impressive winner Beagle, thought the one that tried to nick it gave it something to do but basically destroyed the field going away at the end. They don't win better than that.

Well done, our stake has risen to 3.34 :dancing: Got to win it to stay in it

I'll post my pick tomorrow morning, I've got to up my game now :praying:
