Did anyone bother to watch the FA Cup final ?

I watched, found it quite dull, a 1-0 game decided by a pen with some diabolical play from some highly paid and expensive players.

Pog's headed miss in a game of that magnitude sticks in the mind, hardly the showcase to bring the curtain down on the season.

Oh, and also, Sanchez and Fabregas diving without anyone batting an eyelid. I think VAR should notify the ref of such incidents and he can then book the player when the game next stops. It seems they are not serious about eliminating this from the game and it remains an inconsistency that leaves it looking like they just single out certain players.

Watched in a bar in New York with some yanks and some people from Manchester. Sooooo dull. Can't remember the last exciting fa cup final I watched. I've fallen asleep in more (2) than I've enjoyed in the last few years.

Goons V Hull was the only one I got into in recent years, but only because they almost lost. The Football fraternity are trying very hard to hide some of the things that have gone on. Like bigging up Sanchez goal record and ignoring the blatant hand ball last year. By trying to avoid these things they somehow make them stand out more. Quite pathetic.

They now call it game management when a p!ss poor game is being killed by a negative approach to the game. People actually applaud it, dire entertainment.

I sat and watched it and as a neutral i couldnt believe all the cheating.

Pogba,s a dirty fcker and sanchez is up there with tom daley for diving.

Conte winning takes the pressure of the bloke and hopefully will kill any lingering doubts that poch would go there.

Mourinho looked happy and as usual was gracious in defeat with his comment " chelsea didnt deserve to win "

Yep, the bigger issue off the back of that money is the brand of football, awful to watch.
