where to for Bale?

I'm starting a conversation here as I don't really think we're in the running. The man is on 600k pw and we won't even be able to match half of that, least of all pay in excess of £100M which is likely what he'll sell for if he goes.
The most likely destinations that have been brought up are
Manchester United
Manchester City
P.S.G.
Bayern Munich
Juventus
Utd's best paid player is Sanchez on 350k pw
City's is Aguero on 250k pw
PSG's is Neymar on 450k pw
Bayern is Lewandowski on 200k pw
Juventus is Higuain on 130k pw
United are supposedly put off by his wage demands. City are more interested in trying to sign Mahrez. Bayern and Juve would never come close to the wages (their both closer to our salary cap than United) which leaves PSG.
I can see Madrid favouring a swap deal for Neymar involving Bale. I can see Bale not fancying that move, and perhaps sticking to Real Madrid after all.

Would he want to go to France ? Maybe, but I can see his injury problems continuing through boredom as much as anything else. The Neymar swap does make sense though.
If he wants to come back to GB while he can still be considered young enough to be a top signing then it's United who should break the bank for him out of those who might be able to. They are a long way off City, but would Bale fancy Mourinho ? Not sure.
It wouldn't surprise if he did stay with Madrid, best paid super sub in history.
Is Zidane safe, that might be key

Its always ever been about what the selfish little s*** wants and absolutely no loyalty to any club he has ever been with.
Even now with his supposed " I always dreamed of playing for real madrid" its all about him.
If he doesnt get his way he is threatening to leave.
Cant dispute the blokes talent and his performances for spurs especially in the cl under harry. (great memories)
Not interested in him at all.
There will be a day when he is washed up and looking for that final pay day ! (not that he needs it ) hope we dont go anywhere near him.

He probably wants to stay at Madrid and fight for his place but they don't really seem to like him.
That is Madrid's issue imo.
As for the stuff about refusing to train, that is his agent's work again.
Honestly I don't know but I feel the fans treated him harshly at Madrid, and Madrid overpaid for a player they don't want to keep.
Kind of fair in a way seeing as our fans treated him well and the club only wanted to let him go for ridiculous amounts.
If he takes a wage cut he is welcome back on loan.

Arsenal are in the Europa and supposedly had no money but will also buy a couple more players.
Arsenal already have more attacking players than us and now Pepe.
And people float a Bale return, more out of desperation than anything tangible.
Such a joke despite the attractions.
People honestly just think we are going to P!ss over Arsenal, Chelsea and United.
It's cloud cuckoo land.

Oh dear, Arsenal are setting an example ? Clearly you haven't been paying attention.

For a man who has won more than Zidane for Madrid, and scored as great a goal or two in a Champions League final or two or three, in any other era he'd be a legend of some description.

Sort of, but he ought to be coming back to blighty and being part of a winning team. That means taking a wage cut, but he won't. As much as he can rinse Madrid with my full blessing, I can see why some think he's not exactly focussed on playing. His apparent eagerness to go to China is also a bit lame.
We won't sign him, so it suits me that he stays put tbh.

I'm told Madrid and Bayern have agreed a fee for Bale. Odds about 5/1 with PSG being bookies favourite.
Reason it's a risk is there's a chance Bale digs his heels in til Jan and waits for Chinese window to re-open

It is really only the manager and fans that want him gone. They change like the wind.

He used to put the after burners on, now it's warm underwear and a woolly hat.

Hope, yes.
If I'm honest, the only read I have from Bale's football in the last few years was when Wales reached the semi of the euros.
The team ran through walls, but he played within himself until Wales faced Ronnie's Portugal. Then he ran and ran and ran.
I think he'll be used sparingly and will conserve energy. He will bust his gut later in the season though.
That's what I think we'll be getting if it's a successful deal.
But that requires us to remain in the hunt for things at the sharper end of the season.
