We last played them on 31/01/2018 winning 2-0. C Eriksen scored in 11 seconds, and there was a Jones own goal on 27 minutes, the attendance 81,978
Now seeing as they got beat by Brighton today (sunday 19/08/18) :lmao: i really feel sorry for JM. :lmao: :yahoo: But now they are wounded could be tough for us, but they are not happy bunnies, especially some players with JM.

Our record against them is as follows:
P 186
W 51
D 48
L 87
F 241
A 294
We
Not very impressive figures, but our away for against does not make prety reading at all:
P 94
W 16
D 16
L 62
F 90
A 182

Our top scorer against them is Greavsie with 12.

We got from them Sherringham in July 2001 on a free, and Frazier Campbell in September 2008 on loan.

We sold to them Chris McGrath in october 1976 for £35,000, Alan Brazil in June 1984 for £750,000, then sold the T Sherringham in June 1997 for £3,500,000, then M Carrick in September 2006 for £16,500,000, then D Berbatov in September 2008 for £30,400,000.

As a club they were formed 1878 as Newton Heath and turned pro in 1885. There most capped player whilst at the club is Bobby Charlton with 106.

On 24/11/1956 while Danny Blanchflower was lining up for us at the Lane his brother Jackie, was playing at centre half for united.
Alan Mullery made his Spurs debut against United 21/03/ 1964.
Clint Dempseys first ever Spurs goal wa s against United on 29/09/2012. C Eriksen scored his 50th Spurs goal against United on 30/01/2018.

Oh and just for the record I am taking us to win 2-1. :spurs:

They will be so pumped up next week mate. Our hope is too pumped.

Shame Wanyama isn't fit and at his best but maybe it also becomes a game a snarling Lamela needs to start?

It will be a full blown crisis if ww beat them.

It is Pochettino's time to win a big game.

He's won many big games.

It would be a good time to win another.

Nearly no chance of that happening.

Moaninho will have United firing and the players will want to prove a point.

A hard game for us just got harder but we just have to go there and be strong.

🤫 Donít spoil my parade just yet. In the 6 game challenge, I said 0-0 draw, but I think Jose has lost the locker room, so now Poch and the boys will put an ass whippin on Man U.

Turning Chavs over at the Bridge last season was worthy. We actually win trophies more often.

Semi-finals against top 4 opponents? Juventus? The significant games which provide 2 lumps of belief as opposed to the solo dollop

Your being slightly miserable here, if beating Madrid any other time than a semi isn't getting you excited, then it must be a long and dull season every year.

If anyone thinks beating Madrid and then going out is enough then I take miserable every day.

Bit like doing the double over Arsenal and finishing 5tb to their 4th.

Not sure if you know but this isn't a semi final either. So your argument doesn't work. If this is a big game then so are the other ones yidio is referencing and I'm vaguely pointing to. Poch has won many a big game.

It's a big game.

Listen and read the pundit build up. Bigger for United than us but we can inflct an extremely painful blow if we win.

Imagine Moaninho and the United fans if that happened.

Dismiss its importance if you wish and that it provides one more building block for Pochettino.

Beating all the big teams leads to furtherment. I don't see how this is big and others are not in terms of building blocks. Unless come the end of the season this is pointless if we don't win something. That's a hindsight call and it remains that they are all important prior to any kick off. If you don't beat Madrid in a group match you don't even get to play Juve. The fact you're more worried about United than City further makes this a bit odd. Who gives a cr@p about sulky Mourinho, he ain't winning the title soon.

What's big in the pundits eyes is all about Mourinho, not us maintaining a 100% start with City. Perhaps we'll hang Mourinho's head in the trophy cabinet along with Conte's.

Nope other than confidence.

4 goals and he picks up the World Cup.

What matters more?

Surely winning big games is all about confidence building . So whats wrong with top scorer?
