This has now become our biggest game of the season so far!

Struggling to pick a line up as everyone has been so poor lately .... Iíd go with:

Gazzinaga
Trippier Toby Verts Rose
Wanyama Winks
Lamela Moura Son
Llorente

Give Kane Eriksen Dier Dembo a rest - they all look f*cked

I cannot see that line up at all.
I think Gazzaniga deserves to start but I don't think Poch has the mean side to him to be able to drop Vorm. Something which will bite him in the ass during his career.

The same goes for Wanyama, he should absolutely start ahead of Dier if fit. Over the last year or so Dier has looked completely out of his depth in midfield. He gives the ball away so much and I think we should reassess whether he actually has the quality to be a midfielder or revert back to Centre back. Although he may not want to change back.

I would love to see Sonny and Moura on the pitch at the same time but I don't know if Poch would do that.

As for leaving eriksen and Kane out, yes they need a rest but if he rests them and we don't win everyone will eat Poch alive. However, I think Kane (and a couple of others) definitely needs to be left out at some point (probably in the league cup)

They is no easy games , every game is hard, but if our team is up for it with our better quality I don't see why we can not not win.

We need to get back to doing the basics in this game.
They will fight, look for set pieces and will be compact.
We can't go about our business like we did against inter and let them easily get from back to front and our shape being disjointed and pressing in one's and two's only.
Wally in for dier and winks in for dembo is what I'd go with , I'd also rest Kane and go with llorente.

Start with Llorente - its like starting a game with 10 players

I would like to see following line up

Gazinaga

Verts Toby Sanchez

Trips Rose

Moura Lamela Wanyama Winks

Son

Strange formation really

Iíd go with....

Gazzinga
Aurier....Alderweireld.....Vertonghen"..........Rose
Eriksen.....Wanyama.......Dele (if fit)
Lamela......Son.........Moura

Whatever formation, attack and no b loody tippy tippy football.

Without Kane we need to play a front three like Liverpool . This is the closest we can get.

Why would anyone suggest playing Gazinaga when they haven't even seen him play. Heads are down at the moment, so at best a draw. Of course, on paper we should spank them, but we aren't playing on paper, are we ?

We are vulnerable and not playing a settled team which always talks of a slight lack of belief and confidence from the manager.

I can see us losing more than I can see us winning if we play cautiously.

In that regard I think our best bet is to play our most attacking side.

Not scoring should not be held against Kane. Not making any kind of posirive impression is harder to accept.

A 3-1 scoreline to one side I feel and Moura and Son to be key.

And Sissoko's bullish strength is a miss at present.

Lets hope Wanyama, Dier and Dembele find their best form as well.

Context of possibly having 12 points after 4 hard away games and average performances would be palatable.

Nearly!

Whilst I don't expect much from this game, it's crazy that I or anyone should think like this. Player for player we are miles ahead of Brighton, in actual fact we are a chasm apart. Sorry, but if we lack confidence for a game like this, perhaps our confidence in the manager is lacking. Think about it !!

Why start Gazzinaga ahead of Vorm when we havenít seen him play?

Simple really, we have seen Vorm play!

Because he has to be better than Vorm who looks to be panic stricken every time a high ball comes in to the box, I guess

You have bad memory, Gazinaga made his home league debut against palace at Wembley against Palace in a one nil win and was man of the match with some pundits saying he looks too good to be sitting on the bench.

Yep, I was impressed with him that day. Deserves another match, and why not this one.

I think this will be a big fudge you to the press and a much needed 3 nil......I would have son and Moura starting to break fast on them but where I differ is that I would start Kane, he'll get an early goal and then rest him.

lol you make it sound like it is going to be a comfortable win, I can not remember any team having a easy time at Brighton, I hope we win and play with confidence but I think we might earn a hard thought draw because we have so many players out of sorts.
