OK - time to put the disappointment of yesterday behind us.

This weekend we face the mighty Cardiff City who are managed by Neil Warnock - as an aside 'Colin winker' is a perfect anagram of his name (substitute an a for the I)

So #COYS - time to consolidate our place in the Prem table. With Liverpool playing City one, or likely both of them will drop point

I love warnock . Proper old school manager . Some of the promotions he gets with such limited talent is unbelievable . The poor bloke always pays the price in pl because he never gets backed financially . Would love to see him with money . Cardiff will get relegated , and warnock will inevitably get sacked , even though getting them promoted was a miracle .

These clubs really get above their station sometimes .

I actually think this will be a good game .

I think we will win but a draw would not surprise me at all.

Need to be clinical and put this one away. Lamela has to start. I missed a lot of the Barca game as was at football training with my son, was there anything that made people think Wanyama over Dier or vice versa?

My view and that of a lot of others I've read is Wanyama was chasing shadows all game. Undisciplined positionally and a long way from his best. I know Dan felt differently from where he was sat, but don't think anyone would argue our best play came after when he went off.

Dier, who I would have dropped myself based on evidence so far this season, was a catalyst in us grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck and starting to get back into it in midfield where we'd been anonymous for much of the game.

That doesn't mean he won't go back to passing the ball to the opposition in our next match, but Dier was the better player on the day.

We need to start with 2 DM's , we just can't cope without it against any decent team. Our subs are making the difference so tighten it up at the start, the baller at CM isn't working.

Show the same intent against Barca and this will be no problem.
I would go with the same team but change full backs, wanyama was found wanting at times against Barca but he has been out for a while and their top drawer.

Let's try and get him back to his best.

3-1 today

A win today wont paper over the cracks caused by nil player investment by lewis and levy.

Sissoko in the Team again, this shows Poch Poor Team Selection again.
Playing with Sissoko is like playing with 10 men.

Two tackling CM's with Winksy the obvious passer of the three.

Sissokho is a combative midfielder, covers a lot of work which hopefully will allow winks to paly more central of a 4-2-3-1.

I applaud Poch for rotating in this way and can fully understand his choices.

Winks should get the protection and platform to take this game by the scruff of it's neck, if he sits deeper, I'll be pissed off.

About the only prem club the sad little championship guy will ever score against.

But good luck to winks and hope he makes the grade eventually.

How the fck does sissoko get ahead of lamela ?

Losing faith in pochahcrappo !

Lamela will be tired after Wednesday, literally never seen a player work as hard as him in that game.

Spurs look like they lack creativity in the first half. Cardiff is dangerous on the counter.

Trippier Sissoko, Son out and KWP, Wanyama and Lamela in.

If they continue like they played in the first half, I can see Cardiff coming back in the game.

1-0 final score . I'll take the 3 points but we need to improve performances. The loss of Eriksen and Dele seem massive to the creativity of this team.
