Yep, definitely re Toby.

Not sure if you knew this, but originally before fullback and center back, Jan was a midfielder!

It makes sense why sometimes when he gets the ball he longs to get forward and involved

No I didn't know that, what team was he a midfielder in ?

Think he came through as a CDM/CM at Ajax but then was reverted to CB

Ledley played almost everywhere lol. Get the impression he only ended up at CB in the end as it's where we were short a player at one point.

He did, I think it was more through recognition of how good he was whilst also refusing to drop Terry, Campbell and Ferdinand. He unfortunately ended the tournament injured, which was the fear mentioned when he was named in the squad. It was already recognised that he would struggle with 3 games in 8 days. He himself played well, but we missed the chance to knock the French out. Off the top of my head.

Apparently had another good game at rightback for Argentina. Still might be worth a go at rightback ahead of Aurier and kwp

Anyone watch it?

Moments of brilliance tom, often dallied on the ball and positional sense not always great, but then made some fantastic recoveries. Obvious potential but clear to see he is still very raw.
