I bought him on Fifa 17 career mode for Leyton Orient when I'd got them into the champions league, lol. Ironically I later replaced him with Che Adams who is also coming good this season in the championship.

Would be a slightly strange signing for us on paper but seems to be having a good season. Neal Maupay obviously outshining him stats wise though.

Hes not getting 30 goals a in prem,,if he signed for us he won't even play 30 games in all competitions,,£33m is silly money for a player that has never kicked a ball in the prem

Thats a huge gamble for a player unproven at a high level. I don't think it would be good business to spend that kind of money to be a back up to Kane.

£50 odd mill for n,dombele who,s done nothing and you guys reckon £28 mill is too much for Watkins.

Completely agree. Signing a back-up just means that when Kane gets injured we will complain about our s*** back-up.

Yes ndombele and sissoko don’t look worth their fee so Watkins looks good for £28-£33m. You can also look at it the other way £5m for Dele

The boy is a player , potentially a top player but £28 mil is ludicrous for a player who has not played any top flight games .

Agree he wouldnt have played much for us but he will get goals for villa.

Of course its silly money for a championship player but it can go either way ?

What is the deal = £28m possibly rising to £33m ?

Whats deemed as the deal being a success ? if he gets 20 plus goals in his first prem season ?

It is ludicrous but we have to look at players in lower divisions because we havent the money to nick the best players from the prems also rans anymore.

Those days are long gone and only the likes of the 2 mancs and liverpool can do that these days.

Even players from teams that have bombed out the prem are out of our range (look what bournemouth want ) for pretty well average joes.
