You can not blame poch for injuries :grinny: , it could be numerous things like players picking up injuries because there bodies are tired, our team seems to play two games in every week, That is the reason why I don't want us to play in the Europa league this year because of so many distractions like fa cup, League cup, europe and finishing in the top 4, I don't think we have the squad to just go at it in every competition, we have to choose one competition to stick to. Not strengthen in the window will cost us. Wanyama has problems with his knees, that is a chronic problem and Winks has chronic problem with his ankle, Eriksen and Trippiers problem is from the world cup, they have played too many games Griff.

This breaking down after injury comebacks has been happening for a couple of years. Perhaps Pochs very strict and punishing training sessions are partly to blame.

If it happened to every player rather then the same players you would have a point but Dembele breaks down because his body can not handle premier league games any more, Wanyama has a constant chronic problem with his knees and may continue to have problem with his knees, Winks has permanent ankle problem and Poch is trying to manage him carefully, Trippier and Eriksen's problem started from the world cup and recured because they overplayed and Lamela has hip problems and cannot play two games in a week.

How many of those have come back from injury and broken down virtually straight away? Has to be a reason for that!

Of the names you mentioned, Dembele,Wanyama,Winks and Lamela and now possibly Rose have problems which means the number of games they play is restricted. That’s players we know about. No club can have so many players in such a situation. Therefore ,imho Dier has been overused. It also highlights the ridiculous situation whereby we did not buy in the Summer.Hopefully it will be resolved a little if Wanyama and Dembele are replaced.
