new manager bounce.

I'd take any win... The December period isn't going to get easier, the players looked tired during the Arsenal game so I don't anticipate a high energy performance here either.

Southampton aren't good though so hopefully we make light work of it.

Thats what I was thinking until they drew with Man U and have now sacked Hughes, meaning the players will be looking to impress a new manager. We SHOULD win I just hope that we do win.

Does anyone know why KWP gets no minutes whatsoever. Aurier and Trippier are always rotated yet when one of them is injured the other one plays evey game. Think KWP should be used at times. I see him on all the silly videos spurs do online for halloween or christmas but yet hes not on the pitch

I would also take any kind of win as we need to keep up the pace. Arsenal play United tomorrow and Chelsea have City at the weekend so we have a chance to close the gap on some teams.

Won't be easy tonight they have a new manager and players will be out to impress.
I'd go with same team bar maybe bringing Toby in and I'd also drop dele.
I love dele and I think we missed him when he was out but he has to know that under performing can have consequences.

Good post and agree.

Sunday was way below from Alli, although he was in good or should that be bad company.

We need a positive reaction from the whole team, including the manager.

Southampton have nothing to lose and someone to impress. We need to ensure their revival starts on the weekend.

Yep good win boys, got the points in the bag and back above the scum - nice to get back to normal! Haha

Saturday will hold a far greater challenge at the king power...weíve struggled against leciester for years now (apart from a random 7-1 thumping in there lol)

Back above Arsenal and above Chelsea. Lovely stuff. Wolves and United both doing us favours, nice when the small teams cause an upset :lmao:

I would be more than happy if we are still in the top four post Christmas and in the league cup. Even the most optimistic of us would be surprised if we went to Barca and won. It's the most expected away loss for any team visiting on the planet. Leicester is going to be tough this weekend too. Fingers crossed but realistic

You're right but we love an upset, in both directions.

Plus PSV might get a point against inter. They probably won't rest players as they've got easy games either side and a CL win is worth a fair bit of cash.

Yeah the southampton rout was just papering over the cracks to be brutally honest.

Good response after the arsenal debacle but doesnt tell us much really.

Toughies coming up and we need everyone firing on all cylinders.

Trophy would be priority to shut everyone up. Perfect scenario that would make us all laugh is we end up if the Europa League and win it and either Chelski or the Goons finish fourth and miss out on Champions League. Can but dream....

I'm not against us dropping into Europa this season as as much as I'd love us to progress I think our squad is too short thanks to injuries and lack of signings to really progress in the CL anyway.

That said those issues will still exist in the Europa... A lot depends on January.

Dont get your thinking here with our players at the moment one by one getting injured and southgate calling on our players for every non important friendly.

With respect the europa adds more games and you are ok with us dropping down to that cr@p comp?

CRAZY!
