Think Kane fancied a jog and a goal. Poch maybe thought Llorente deserved an ovation.

Try keeping Kane on the bench, sitting next to him is probably a nightmare.

I was thinking the same :lmao:

Making sure llorente doesn’t get a knock before his move ?

Job done I was fearing for dele’s legs at some stages because he started taking the p!ss !

Skipp was excellent second half

What a brilliant performance second half anyway ....truly class and I love how CLINICAL we are lately!! Bring on the next round - another easy draw please as we have had such a hard run in the league cup

Skipp was tidy first half and obviously he's a player that will play to instruction, only started to play forwards after the break.

Just saying on radio that Son doesn't leave until after the United match.

It might have 'only been Tranmere', but they are a thoroughly professional outfit - I've seen them twice in the National League in recent seasons and they were not to be expected pushovers. Thought Skipp played well. As for Kane coming on, I'd like to think that it was done as a gesture towards the Tranmere team and fans - Wenger did the same last season when he put Sanchez on for the last 20 mins when Woolwich were at Sutton United in the FA Cup 5th round (a match I attended).

Was half paying attention but mcmanaman said something about Poch saying he brought Kane on for the fans to see him.

Skipp did play some lovely forward passes but he also got caught on the ball a bit. I'd like to see more of him but I'd worry about him against top opposition on that showing.

Waxing lyrical on the radio, Stuart Pearce drooling about our academy saying they all have brains and can play if they've been through the Tottenham Academy.

Media can't be slagging off bringing on Kane in the FA Cup, the comp. needs all the help it can get to keep the kids excited about it. Reaction to some Spurs comments on social media, but we all know if he got injured it would be a different story.

91% pass accuracy from an 18 yr old. I have to admit I watched him first half, not the match. Just kept it simple, got it, passed it. I was sort of wanting him to stop, put his foot on the ball and get his head up a bit.

Still, he played well, and knitted it all together with those around him.

His passing was spot on. But he thought about it too much. Got caught out from their pressing and they're not exactly Barca or Liverpool

Just reading on Tranmere's forums and they are all saying how fantastic it was to watch the team play, also how great it was for the kids to see Kane come on.

Spot on TomTom, Skipp needs some games before we could rely on him....the pace of the PL is immense, he would get found out at the minute.

Bringing on Kane for the oposing fans was a touch of class from pochettino .
Fans are the game and that gesture from poch was more impressive than the performance and win.
It will go unnoticed by the media but who cares we all know this guy has class and respect all over him.
