Donít agree especially tonight

Donít see what we have fit & available that actually stems the flow of the game ?
Lamela will chase things down but we could actually do with someone to tighten up the CM & apart from skipp our options are at home injured

I think you are in the minority.
What about KWP, and moving Rose forward?
What about Skipp?

Not being funny guys but is this what Poch means about being clever? They've been quite happy to just play it around rather than go all out and let Chelsea run around knowing they don't really have a cutting edge.

No over committing or doing anything silly as it's only the 1st leg. I think he's got it right.

I think we have been lucky not to concede so far to be honest. If players are on the bench then they should be there because they can come on not just to make up numbers.

Doesnít have to change the game but at least settle things. We canít just allow pressure and not react.

We have done brilliantly filling gaps & papering over cracks whilst weíve had so many out injured but now itís taking its toll the lads are starting to suffer

We need some back ASAP

We are short in the midfield department now that Dembele is heading way, I notice Levy was watching, surely he relies this squad is a bit short to challenge on all fronts.

Agree, we have had bad luck with injuries, but that's why we have a squad with seven subs on the bench, all of which at some time have been 'starters'. That makes them not bad players, so in the circumstances they should have been used IMO, (not just in the last few minutes), and freshen things up. As it was obvious that some were "suffering"

Iím not arguing it needed a change but it needed to be a change that changed the pattern of the game & imo we lacked options to achieve that !
Iím positive if dier moura vertonghen wanyama etc were available we would of seen a change earlier !
Lamela could of came on earlier but our most likely chance of a second was sonnyís pace on the break !

Return game will be tougher.
SPURS showed big sign of tiredness in this game.
Would need some new signing to compete in all four competitions.
BORN TO BE A SPURS FAN.

Not great but we won and I love it .
Before poch how many times did we play chelsea play well and lose ?
Tonight is evidence in the change of mentality amongst the players when it comes to games like tonight.

Agree mate , I think we are short in a couple of areas at the moment and the lads are papering over cracks.
Not sure what's out there in Jan but we are relying heavily on a few especially in midfield.

This!

Was at the game and whilst we did nothing 2nd half in attack I wasn't overly worried. I've been among those giving Trippier stick this season but nothing got past him tonight. Possibly my motm.

Poch managed it well. Whilst Lamela could have maybe come on sooner he's just back from injury and with Son off and Lucas out we need to be careful.

We were resolute tonight, more than we were fluid in possession of the ball.

A strange game where we looked like we had one less player than Chelsea at times.

We needed greater options when the tide turned and Pochettino took his time, as ever.

To think we are going to sell Dembele is a thought not worth pondering.

Well, we managed to draw 1-0, the lads dug in well and actually defended as well as I've seen for a while. Toby and Sanchez held firm but we all saw that Eriksen had to do a lot of defending which blunted us somewhat.

Was Davies on the bench, I thought we could have brought him on and switched to a back 3 to help out our FB's. Other than that, I didn't see much else from off the bench apart from Lamela rushing around. As he came on I said he might not score but he will get booked. The lad never lets us down.

I must point out that I don't mind how we beat the chavs, just that we beat them. We go into leg three with a healthy 4-1 advantage.
