Yep, quality showing through, sadly, this ship has sailed. I prefer buying from lower leagues than I do France.

Surprised where palace have been so far

He’s scored 1-2 goals, and they lost Bissaka

Everyone beating everyone, Grealish has taken Zaha's crown as most fouled

Grealish best dribbling stats in the league... Wish we'd got him when we tried. Would have made a big difference to some of our more lethargic displays.

We’ve missed out on a cracking talent, he’s only getting better & will continue to do so & by the summer he’ll be £65-75m.
Also been impressed with mings type of CB we could do with

As has happened so many, times in the past,Levy’s methods have cost us a very good player. Grealish could someasily have been ours.

We didn't even really stand a chance of getting Grealish unless Villa stayed in the Championship, they are his boyhood club and he never really had any intention to leave if they got promoted....

We could easily have signed him when Villa were in financial trouble. Once their problems were eased that made it harder.Add to that Levy’s ‘valuation’ and it’s a no no.

But he was their most valuable asset it was risk they had to take for longer financial gain which has paid off for the owners not selling, if they sold and remained in the Championship it would of been more detrimental to their club as a whole rather than take a cut price deal for Grealish, just taking a logical look at this situation, yes he would of been a fantastic buy, but there was clearly more to the situation than any of us know.

Fairly sure that most who actually rated Grealish knew the rug was pulled by Villa's owners and don't blame Levy. He tried but circumstances changed and the deal was shut down.

And many didn't want Grealish until it was clear we wouldn't be getting anyone else. The strange part is that England were crying out for a midfield play maker and Grealish was playing deeper, his recent form has seen him pushed up higher. If he stays fit (gets a few injuries) then I'd expect him to be at the Euro's in the summer.

Spot on yidio.

We agreed a fee. New owner refused to honour it even though it meant they would breach ffp. Refused to sell their star player as he felt it would be bad press for his first move to ratify that deal so pulled plug even though all parties where expecting it to go through.

Grealish even came out and said he was expecting to join Spurs and was disappointed he wouldn't get the chance to work with Poch.

No thanks, his ponderous low socks hair flicking running about would grate when things aren’t going well

Valued at 85M now.

So frustrating we couldn't get this over the line at the time. No chance now.

Can't think of any other player who would be a poorer fit for Mourinho.

Scored a nice goal in a losing team yesterday, a lazy defending team.

It’s crystal clear in the papers today,we are signing Koulibaly, Soumaré and Bale in exchange for Eriksen.
Yippee! Levy has got £200 million loose change"
