Generally speaking it goes to the top two teams in England with one player thrown in who is a huge signing and has social presence.

Also, am I right in saying it is the players who vote, so apparently Sterling voted for Harry Kane.

For the most part I don't think players are thinking the same going into the process.

The players vote for it. They voted when Ole at the wheel had them bossing it and Pogba looked like the best cm in the country. He's now gone back to where he was under Mourinho. Talented? No doubt. But definitely not worthy of a spot in that XI.

Ederson was superb against us the other day and does that regularly. Hard to argue against him as GK although Alisson probably close.

I think Hazard over Pogba. As good as Sonny and Sissoko have been, there's others who have perhaps been better in other teams. I'd have Vertonghen or Toby in over Stones though.

The thing I don't understand about Pogba is how the average United fan that watches games and reads stats tends to say he is their best player.

At the very same time, people like Keane point out he is a bluffer in big games at club level, and is one of the troublemakers who needs to go.

I don't know how much of it is an Adebayour situation, but it is really confusing.
