Well the BBC have reported we put in a bid of 53. Normally they don't publish anything until its pretty darn truthful. He compares well with Ndombele, Tielemans, Maddison, van de Beek and Zaniolo

Would mean a handsome profit for them but if we rule out players that have been signed a new contract in the last year, Maddison, Ndomebele, Grealish, van de Beek and Lo Celso would be out. That would leave us with Tielemans, Fekir, Rabiot and Gomes for centre/attacking mid.

Real madrid and Man city are also interested in him, and we just had 53 Million knocked back last night, I can see Real Betis looking for a bidding war which we don't have no chance because of our financial constraints.

The only way we have a chance of signing him is if Eriksen leaves for around the 80 million mark.

Not really , Lamela is one footed player , he relies on his left foot and he dribbles like a wasp with one wing, no wonder he has hip problems lol.

I can really see similarities Lo Celso looks very tenacious as well as skillful, but seems to weigh in with a lot more goals. Could be one of them ones we sign and he then goes to the next level class under Poch very rapidly

I know there will be comparisons to Lamela but there seems a lot more end product to Lo Celso and a lack of injuries which have blighted poor Erik. I do wonder why we gave him a new contract a year ago.

They is always a risk when you buy unproven premier talent, they is some hits and a lot of misses and Poch is a world class manager but he is not a wizard that he will turn any player into top class player , you just have to look at Carter vickers, Jansen , Onomah, Nkoudou , Marcus Edwards , Bentaleb, Alex Pritchard, Tom Carroll and the best example of that is Erik Lamela. Only kane you can say has developed into a world class player, Alli is 23 and he has stood still and maybe not hit the heights as in his first full season.

So he couldn't leave on a free. He's got us minimum 6 points this season in PL alone (that's winning goals, total contributions is higher).

Keep seeing people complaining about him getting a new contract on the web, doesn't mean we won't sell him. He's still worth a few million.

Also Lamela scored 15 in his last season in serie A. Looks like Lo Celso hasn't had a season that prolific yet.

Think we can afford to bring in one more midfielder if no one else leaves, possible two if Janssen and/or Llorente leave as long as one of them can play lone striker if needed (a Bale/Fekir/Depay/Zaha type)

Im not fussed if Eriksen leaves , it sounds like his head is turned and has been awful in large parts of the season. His age is against now too , last chance saloon this window if he wants to be a Galactico or whatever.

Not sure on Lo Celso , Id be a bit wary of La Liga players with hefty price tags and expect them to hit the ground running.

Coutinho however, has proven his predigree in the prem league and would be a dream signing but would only be that ... a dream.

It's not a great signing in my opinion. It is potentially a great signing if we find a defensive partner to play alongside.

I'm a bit tired and bored of saying it but we have creative players. Unless we are offloading deadwood, and signing players to stop leaking goals, I don't feel an attacking CM is a priority.

Don't get me wrong, I will welcome them. And I am all for Poch improving the spine of the team in all areas. I am only asking. Are they needed? Are they better than Dele, Eriksen, Lamela, Lucas, Winks? Will we sell one of those? Can they be a hybrid like Dembele? Do they have a World Class 53m player covering them? These are too many questions to which I feel the answer is no.

And for that reason, I am out..

[Unless he is the next VdV and scores screamers and runs into the crowd.]

Then, can we keep him?

50, my concern with what you say is that when you say we have "creative players" all bar Eriksen of the ones you mention are ones that finish a move, not a creator. Winks has set up two goals in three years. No way is he creative. Lamela can create but is always injured so the burden lies on Eriksen to create nearly all the time. Creativity is what we need even if Eriksen stays
