Maybe everyone can get off his back now. A lot of people on this forum wanted him gone after playing about 2/3 matches.

Welcome to the club officially Gio!

Yes. Ridiculous knee jerk on a highly rated talent.

Wonder if he didn't get injured if Poch would have still been here.

I was one of those posters who questioned him and am happy to admit that I was wrong.

I was also one of those posters but have to say it wasn't his fitness that concerned me but rather the fact he looked totally lost everytime he walked on the park.

He was walking about totally lost, taking up sht positions and was bang average on the ball. It does appear to have changed for the better and this appears to be more to do with communication or possibly just a simpler game plan. Frankly that's been the way our midfield has been for months so I didn't see how he was improving things.

He has shown signs as has lamella recently of looking like a player, which is starting to build some confidence, but we now need Ndombele or Gedson to step up. Fck I just want to see spurs control a game in MF, it literally has been nearly a year now. Outplayed by everyone including boro has been difficult to watch.

This irks me a bit. I still think we would have had too many defensive issues, but it annoys me that Poch wasn't given a full season. Even if we were still 14th in the league I would have backed him for the FA Cup and/or CL.
