Read an article about an interview with martin jol on who spurs should go for this summer.

He said that we already had brilliant players and it would be hard to better them and gave valid reasons for that opinion.

He recommends we buy Hakim Ziyech but warns that you wont be able to buy ajax players for 12-15 mill anymore and that those days have gone.

I see the player is a gooner target so maybe we should gazump the mugs. :niceone:

Really sad if he does go to the Chavs. I was hoping that we were in for him (and Bruno Fernandez) last summer. Looks like these ships have sailed.

Still 40m for a top player isn't that incredible. Interesting that he went to chavs. Lampard really wants to play footy there?

Yep he will do really well in the PL I can feel it....will probably be Willians long term replacement - great business from Chelsea IMO

Would have rather this lad than Bergwjin but we will see how Stevie does

Whilst Ziyech is probably a Breyer individual now he is older but the big factor for me is Bergwijn can play striker ziyech hasnt in his career.

We bought the right player for the current time.

Its the usual window mate. Should be used to it.

Were the only club that aspire to great things without aspiring to get it done .

This guy is quality. His assist rate is ridiculous. Happy with Bergwijn but this guy is a top talent too.

Making the prediction now that he is not going to transfer over to English football very well. Not at the price bought for.

He’s the wrong side of 25 and physically he’s not suited to English football, my bet is that he’s going to be very brittle.

Much happier with Stevie Burger at 65% the price. Younger, faster, stronger.

The only positive in Ziyech favour is Reece James promotion, as Azpi and Ziyech would leave them lacking pace and power down that side.
