Not sure why the Leicester season is being brought up to be honest BB?

They went on a practical second half season win streak, not really sure what you’re suggesting we were to do.

We were already too far behind. Press made it out like if we won that we'd be able to win the league but Leicester needed to drop points even if we won and they didn't. It's a fallacy which no one who was paying attention believes.

Absolutely correct.........allowing the goons to steal runner up spot wasnt easy to swallow though was it.

And before him we were struggling to even become close. He's bringing us to the top level and compete with the big money clubs, within a tight budget..

Yep ! agree.

Look if we had 6 managers in a room to choose from like the following for a rough example.

Pochettino.
Allegri.
Zidane.
Klopp,
Sarri,
Guardiola.
etc etc etc

My personal preference to manage spurs would be allegri or klopp with pochettino next in line and thats a compliment ahead of pep, zidane and whoever out of hundreds of managers worldwide.

Thats an opinion not a call for pochettino to be booted out.

Agreed but what anybody says rog ! we were in with a chance and the end of season collapse was appalling.

You can take a look at match day (during the game) comments during that season to see posters on here thought we were in with a good chance.

Funny how all that is forgotten now.

We were in with a chance if Leicester choked. They didn't. So we weren't. It's not forgotten at all, we just have hindsight to know that beating Chelsea would have had no bearing on the title whatsoever.

For the record, I am not saying I want Pochettino out.

What I am saying, is he is being a dick to the fans with his media comments.

The only positive I can see is if he is saying them in order to convince players like Rose to stay and win trophies this season.

I agree, they are dick comments.

The “English isn’t his first language” doesn’t work here. He knows exactly what he was saying.

I just don’t understand why he’s trying to say it . Surely it doesn’t encourage levy to spend if spending might mean winning and winning meaning we lose stability by him leaving?

As you said, dick comments.

Well be careful what you say on here because apparently anything said against him gets interpreted as you saying you want him gone.

Well lets draw a line under that because bringing the subject up wasnt meant to produce a litany of response's telling me what i already know.

It was the way the challenge collapsed after the chelsea game but thats me finished with the subject ok :niceone:

Pochettino is saying nothing but he will walk is my prediction if we don't sign a minimum of 2 if not 3 players on his 'A' list of priorities.

Like the feelings of Moura when left out of the Champions League final team he will have a sense of 'what more can I do?'

Unlike Moura though, I think Pochettino will pack his cases and say adios.

I believe Pochettino is sonewhat undone by poor decisions but he would be right to walk if he is not backed in the next few days.

Where is he going to go?

Madrid have Zidane
PSG have Tuchel
Man Utd have OGS
Barcelona - Hes said this a no go due to his affiliation and love with Espanyol
City have Pep
Juventus have Sarri

There is literally no other club he would go to, so why would he walk away from this project he has committed to? Its clear Levy is backing him, maybe we just need to sit back, watch and judge when this window after, Levy wouldn't risk losing Poch as he knows he is the clubs most valuable asset.

I wonder if Poch is feeling happy. He wanted incoming players ready for pre-season training.I praised Levy the other day but he seems to be delaying deals until the last minute again. Apparently Real Betis are now fed up with these tactics. However, other clubs seem to be very slow in their dealings atm.

He has 100% gone if it's just Ndombele.

100%

I would not blame him if this is the case and he was promised more.

However, I would blame him if he knew this going in and did not resign before preseason started.

This is the problem with the lack of clarity from the top down and the manager and players breaking rank in the media.
