Great news, means every player worth keeping has got at least two years left on their contract so we won't be held to ransom

Brilliant to see us signing up the young talent to long contracts again like we used to. We stop doing this for too long

He is a top lad and as you say has the potential to be a top cb but his short term future has to be fullback where we are weak. Whether we like it or not Toby, Dier and Sanchez are ahead of him in the pecking order for his natural position. Japhet is very athletic and dynamic so I think he can be more than capable of fitting in at rightback

Agree up to a point but I would rather have an actual right back brought in rather than a make shift one because they always get found out plus don't think any of the CBs we have currently can 100% say they own their spot.

I think they all have to show Jose why they should be first pick.

I don't like it, but you're right, can't remember his name but Mourinho's rb at chavs was more like a CB in physique, and strong in the air. And who can forget Corluka, bit of an unsung hero in HR's Spurs team.

It won't happen purely based on the fact the Aurier has been his first choice in that position since he took over and despite the countless mistakes he's still picked him despite Japhet being there.

We need to bring in another RB

Best I don't comment on that.

Only Jose can say in presser one day he doesn't think Tanganga is a CB and the next day play him as a CB

With the pace of Sanchez and Tangy at the back, might we see a higher line tonight ? I might have a £1 on Davies getting a goal
