Nice to see fast, direct and incisive football instead of slow, tippy tippy football.Hence 4 goals.

I say this all the time, we never use opportunities to rest Kane. Maybe not at HT but after 60 mins or so bloody take him off. We are going to play a match every 3/4 days for the next few weeks it just doesnít make sense to keep him on.

I donít always think itís Pochís decision to playnKame every minute of every game. I think itís Kaneís wish ,he is so intent on finishing top scorer or breaking records and seems to have his wishes met.

Much much better
More like the spurs we become use to & long may it continue!

Rest Kane ? Why ? He wants goals & heís been well rested by hardly kicking a ball whilst having one good ankle for long periods of last season & heís coming off a proper summer break!
Aurier was the big positive letís just hope he can stay fit

Agree with this mate apart from the Kane part.

Kane is our star man, whoís got injured several times in the last couple of seasons due to being overworked. Weíve got 7 games in 23 days coming up and yesterday was the perfect chance to keep Kane fresh.

Lucas could of come on to keep things lively and push for more goals or even Troy Parrot could have been given a chance for the second half (not sure if he was even on the bench ffs). Rashford was thrown in at 17/18 so why canít Parrot?

Do agree Kane needs more rest this season, but also agree with Parky that it's too early to stress over it. We're early enough in the season that he's still building up his sharpness. Not like the England games were high intensity either.

We do need to be resting him more though moving forward. Be interesting to see if he plays majority of minutes in next 2 weeks or if Poch starts him on the bench for one or two of em.

Aurier well up for it lol

Crikey! What got into Aurier? I've always been in two minds about this guy. When he first joined I thought he was good then had reservations. You always think he's going to give away a penalty.

Maybe he needs a run in the team??? Anyway, he was good yesterday. Did you notice just before he crossed for Son to volley in the third that he won a great ball in the air down the right flank to knock it down to Lamela? It was all very impressive. If he can keep this form he's probably our best option at right back though I suspect Foyth will give him a run for his money when fit.

The problem with Foyth is he won't offer much going forward which would hamper the system we play but Foyth would be a better defender.

LOL stop moaning, the team played well in the first half.

That wasn't moaning. If you want moaning, the result doesn't matter because Everton and Arsenal can still leapfrog us with wins.

Good performance .
Kane didn't need to be rested because he cruised through the game, sonny did more sprints and looked more tired at the end. But, Patrick on the offer so possible he would have been subbed earlier.

Credit to Toby, best his range passing has been for a long time, sublime.

Crazy horse, well, a few of us keeping saying there is a good player in him, but injuries are his problem, even above his loose cannon demeanour.

Winksy is a cog in the machine.....etc.

Movement much better, had to be.

And, goons threw away a 2.0 lead and were quite shocking in doing so.

I'm a bit concerned for bookmakers if they keep making Arsenal strong favourites away from home, especially at Watford.

As for Everton, well, their results are a bag of revels, similar to us, albeit about ten years ago.

Not sure about your opinion on foyth not offering much going forward ,think that will be his strongest attribute at full back

His take on percentage was insane last season... Which scared me from a CB as he was attempting too many without cover. At RB that's a real asset. It also seems he's not bad at picking a pass along the ground, but I don't know if he'll be flying down the wing and fizzing crosses in...

Question is why is he not captain if heís going to play as often as Lloris.

Heís captain of England, and heís Mr Tottenham.

Foyth is not a right back. In fact I think heís more of a progressive CDM than a CDM.
