Our first Champion's League Game against Olympiakos.

Would be a great game.
Spurs should easily qualified for the Knocked Out stage.
Maybe signing 2 more players in January Transfer Window will give us a good chance to progress further.

The whole team was very impressive against C. Palace. Hope they can keep the same composure.

Will go for the same team and hope Moura has more time on the field.
Would be great to see Parrott in the Squad. Hope he gets a go as well.

Lloris

Aurier Alderweirald Vertongen Rose

Winks Sissoko

Lamela Ericksen Son

Kane

Bench: Gazza, KWP, Davies, Ndombele, Alli, Moura, Parrott

It is a difficult game. A banana skin. I'd take a solid 1-0 away win.

Big hitters rested for the Premier League could be an option.

I don't think Poch will do this, but a Spurs B team could benefit us, if we leave Kane and co. at home.

Canít see KWP play so soon after injury and no way Sessegnon will get his first game.Your team with Aurier and Dele I reckon.

yeah. Can start resting players when we're comfortable not when we have zero points in the group!

A little rotation is probably necessary as we're away for this and early ko on sat against Leicester who aren't a pushover! But I'd still go v strong for this.

Dele, Lucas, Dier all need minutes.

Question is does Poch have faith in the entire squad or not.

We have noticeably less fringe players now. I think you are all overestimating what is going to be a really comfortable group for spurs.

I think we have 6-10 games including cups here, to give others some minutes and exercise our new depth, assuming lo celso etc stay fit beyond end of October

Ok I concede.

If we dropped points to them, an inquest would be made into selection.

Dropping KDB for Gundogan was probably a great example of that this weekend

I think we should rest players in Bayern away when we got enough points from the easier matchups.
If possible in match 5.

Better to go full strength ,try and get top place, make the draw somewhat easier.

Playing a weaker team against Olympiakos can be very costly.
It is up to Poch now.

Agee with this.

Although hoping this ECL has as many surprises as last season

It would be typical to get out of a death group and final last year, and botch an amazingly easy path this year.

I don't see it happening but we have done better against tougher opponents in Europe in the last few seasons than the ones we're supposed to do well against.

This is why I don't want to see too weak a team tomorrow. Olympiakos have 100% record so far in their league and have invested heavily in their squad... They might not be a pushover.

Thatís what I would go with, just with Dele in midfield instead of Lamela.

Tried to edit your posts together Griff as one was broken but apologies if that's not how you meant it.

Lamela isn't in the lineup you quoted so not sure who you wanted Dele in for?

Rose and Aurier left behind (to be fully rested for Leicester I assume), Sessegnon has had injury setback :grr:

So KWP and Davies only natural full backs travelling.

GLC and Foyth still injured.

Ndombele, Dier, KWP all back to full fitness.
